Sally then brands him a 'half-witted fleabag'. And after Worzel almost strikes Sally when he mistakes her for a burglar, the doll whacks him over the head with a shovel. In another shouting match, he calls her a 'worm-riddled old skittle'. Free Speech Union boss Lord Young commented: 'Worzel Gummidge may not have succeeded in scaring any birds, but he's clearly enjoying a second wind as a scarer of over-sensitive woke scolds.' ITV was asked to comment.
