Banks of the Wabash Festival is underway through May 31st

FAIRBANKS PARK, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Banks of the Wabash Festival is underway at Fairbanks Park until May 31st in Terre Haute. Hundreds of people gather every year to Terre Haute for a yearly early summer tradition. This year is the 52nd year for the annual event featuring food, merchandise vendors, games, rides, and entertainment for the entire family. One food vendor not only serves food, but all of the benefits go straight towards supporting a local high school band program. 'Everything that we could need to make our season possible; the money goes towards that as well as other fundraisers throughout the year,' said Brittany Abrams, an incoming senior and member of the Pride of South Marching Band. The Banks of the Wabash Festival runs through Saturday, May 31st.
