Letchworth State Park wins USA Today's top outdoor award
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The results are in, Letchworth State Park is the number-one Best State Park!
That's according to fans of state parks who voted Letchworth the 2025 USA Today Reader's Choice Award.
The announcement came from the Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism Office Wednesday.
Letchworth State Park was one of the top nominees selected by US travel experts and was nominated among the top 20 state parks nationwide.
This is not the first time the park has achieved this feat, it also won the contest back in 2015.
'We are thrilled that Letchworth State Park has received this prestigious national recognition,'Wyoming County Tourism Director Eric Szucs. 'This honor not only reflects the deep love and pride our local communities have for the park, but also underscores its powerful appeal to outdoor enthusiasts across the country.'
