2 jailed in armed robbery at Florence County hotel
FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two people have been arrested by Florence County deputies after an armed robbery at a Florence-area hotel, the sheriff's office said Friday.
Xavier Malik Blow, 38, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy. Keith Lavontai Cooper, 29, faces the same charges.
Deputies responded at about 8 p.m. for a reported robbery at the Baymont Inn on Lucas Street, according to the sheriff's office. The two allegedly entered a room, presented a gun and took money from the victim.
Both Blow and Cooper were booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Thursday and remain in jail without bond as of Friday afternoon.
