Weymouth man suspected of ‘peeping Tom' incident outside apartment complex
A Weymouth man was charged in connection with a 'peeping Tom' incident outside an apartment building on Saturday, Weymouth police said.
Hida Xhevahir, 48, of Weymouth, faced charges of lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct; and disorderly conduct, the Weymouth Police Department said in a statement. He was released on bail and was scheduled to appear in Quincy District Court.
At around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, Weymouth police officers arrived at the Woodstone Crossing apartment complex on Trotter Road, the department said. The officers were dispatched over reported suspicious activity.
Officers arrived to find a man crouching near a ground-level window, police said. Officers approached and he was uncooperative and his pants were unzipped, police said. The man, Xhevahir, was arrested.
