19-year-old shot, killed at apartment on Jessup Street, Lexington police say
LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide in which a 19-year-old was shot and killed.
On Saturday at 1:42 a.m., LPD officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Jessup Street where officers located one victim who died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as Xzavion Tyleal Booker, 19, of Lexington.
Investigators say this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
