Eva Erickson. Joe Hunter. Kamilla Karthigesu. Kyle Fraser. Mitch Guerra. Shauhin Davari. One of these six people is about to become a millionaire.
Following the elimination of Mary Zheng from the May 7 episode of Survivor 48, only a half-dozen players remain in the running to become this season's Sole Survivor. These castaways have outwitted, outlasted, and outplayed 12 others to make it to the last episode of the 48th season, and now their fate resides in the hands of the jury who they had a hand in eliminating from the game. Here is everything to know about the Survivor 48 finale.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 21, as that is CBS' airdate for the three-hour finale. It will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT and conclude at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Survivor has always named its episodes after quirky or unique quotes from the contestants and/or Jeff, and the finale is no exception. The official title is "Only One of Youse Can Win," though it's unclear which person is responsible for the specific quote. Might it be a voted-off player, who lashes out after their torch is snuffed? Or maybe it's someone who's knocked out of a challenge early? Find out next Wednesday.
Oh, yes! There will be two immunity challenges throughout the three-hour episode, the first one featuring the Final 5 and the second one between the Final 4. The winner of the last challenge will get to choose one person to bring with them to the Final 3, while the remaining two people will compete in a fire-making challenge to see who advances, and who is eliminated in fourth place.

As of this writing, the six people still left in the game are:
Eva Erickson: 24-year-old PhD candidate from Providence, R.I.
Joe Hunter: 46-year-old fire captain from West Sacramento, Calif.
Kamilla Karthigesu: 31-year-old software engineer from Foster City, Calif.
Kyle Fraser: 31-year-old attorney from Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mitch Guerra: 34-year-old P.E. coach from Waco,Texas
Shauhin Davari: 38-year-old debate professor from Costa Mesa, Calif.
One of these contestants will be ousted during the May 14 episode, leaving just five to compete in the finale on May 21.
The jury of eight started at the Top 11, with Cedrek McFadden becoming the first jury member. He was followed by Chrissy Sarnowsky, David Kinne, Star Toomey, and Mary Zheng, and three more will soon join them. These eight jurors will vote for who they think deserves the $1 million prize. (Note that the seven people voted out first do not participate in this stage of the competition: Stephanie Berger, Kevin Leung, Justin Pioppi, Thomas Krottinger, Bianca Roses, Charity Nelms, and Saiounia "Sai" Hughley.)
With eight jurors and three finalists, it's possible we could see a tie vote — that's what happened in Season 36, Survivor: Ghost Island. If there's a tie, the third-place finalist gets to cast the tie-breaking vote. During the Ghost Island finale, Laurel Johnson received the least amount of jury votes (zero), so she cast the tie-breaking vote between Wendell Holland and Domenick Abbate, picking Wendell.

To date, 45 different people have won CBS's reality TV show, spread out over 47 seasons — see the updated winners list. Sandra Diaz-Twine (Pearl Islands, Heroes vs. Villains) and Tony Vlachos (Cagayan, Winners at War) are the franchise's only two-time champions, with the former taking home a combined $2 million, and the latter claiming a combined $3 million, since Winners at War rewarded double the prize money. Who will join the list of champions for Season 48?
