Jordan, Turkey discuss enhanced security cooperation
Ammon News - Director of Public Security Major General Obaidallah Maaytah met on Monday with Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Yakup Caymazo?lu to discuss expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of law enforcement and public safety.
The meeting, held at Public Security Directorate headquarters in Amman, focused on strengthening bilateral ties through the exchange of expertise and best practices, with the aim of building institutional capacities and improving community policing strategies.
Major General Maaytah reaffirmed the depth of Jordanian-Turkish relations, underscoring the importance of joint security coordination in addressing regional and global challenges. He noted that collaborative efforts in law enforcement are essential to fostering public safety and upholding the rule of law.
Ambassador Caymazo?lu praised the advanced capabilities and professionalism of the Jordanian Public Security Directorate, highlighting the value of ongoing cooperation. He expressed Turkey's readiness to support further partnership initiatives in training, information-sharing, and technical development.
