One dead after motorcycle crash on U.S. 35 on Saturday night
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – One man is dead after a motorcycle crash on U.S. 35 late Saturday night.
According to the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 11:39 p.m. on U.S. 35 westbound, by milepost 34.
The initial investigation found that a 2007 Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle, driven by a 25-year-old from Xenia, was allegedly speeding. Officials said the driver lost control and crashed into the barrier wall. He was ejected from his cycle in the crash.
Officials declared him dead on the scene.
According to officials, he wasn't wearing a helmet.
This crash is under active investigation.
