PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Yamhill County officials are asking the public for information as they believe a man facing charges for sexual assault may have other victims. According to the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, deputies initially began investigating on Wednesday after a sexual assault was reported having occurred in the Nestucca River Recreation Forest. According to YCSO, the victim was taken to a wooded area and sexually assaulted by Williams. Officials said the female passenger was not present during the alleged incident. The day after the reported assault, deputies said they learned Williams was hiding out in the Nestucca River Recreation Forest and 'attempting to leave the area discreetly.' He was booked into the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on charges of first-degree rape and menacing. The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of 100 NW Richard Street following reports of several gunshots linked to a local resident. While speaking to him, the trooper said he noticed the man — a convicted felon — was carrying a concealed pistol, though the law prohibits him from owning any firearms. The interaction turned into a brief standoff between the man and a group of deputies, but officials said it lasted only several minutes before they could make an arrest. While searching the man's home, investigators found a total of 17 firearms, with 16 that appeared to have been manufactured by Acuff 'using various parts kits,' officials said. PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 41-year-old man is facing charges after shooting his coworker multiple times last week in a house in rural Grand Ronde, according to the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office. Authorities say Cesar Flores of Woodburn has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree assault in connection with . Flores and the victim, who has only been publicly identified as a Sheridan man, were both coworkers and acquaintances at the time of the incident, investigators said on Monday. Earlier this month, authorities said alcohol 'was a factor in this incident.' Deputies say Flores initially left the scene but eventually turned himself into law enforcement. The victim was taken to a regional hospital in critical condition and his current condition is unclear at this time. Flores is still in custody at Yamhill County Correctional Facility and his bail has been set at $750,000.
