Yemassee Police: Sinkhole closes parts of Trask Parkway and McPhersonville
Yemassee, SC (WSAV) — A sinkhole was found in the area of Trask Parkway and McPhersonville, closing parts of the roadway near the Jasper County line, according to Yemassee Police.
Officers blocked off this section of the roadway Saturday evening. South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has been informed. Motorists in the area are asked to exercise extra caution and avoid the area if possible.
