Bridgerton season 4 UAE release: Trailer, cast, story and more

Since it landed on Netflix back in 2020, Bridgerton has totally taken over our screens and our conversations. It's got everything – dreamy love stories, wild scandals, and that quirky mix of corsets paired with string-quartet covers of pop songs that somehow just works. From the juicy gossip at those fancy balls, or just can't get enough of Lady Whistledown's witty commentary, it's pretty impossible not to get totally swept up in all the drama. What's this season about? Now, all eyes are on Season 4 – and it's finally time for Benedict Bridgerton to take centre stage. While Netflix hasn't confirmed the exact plot just yet, book fans know his story is a swoony Cinderella-inspired arc: a masked ball, a mysterious woman, and a love that challenges class expectations. Yes, we're already counting down. The cast for season 4 and who's returning for the season? What we do know is that the cast is locked in and ready. Luke Thompson finally takes the lead as Benedict, the creative, quietly charming Bridgerton brother, alongside newcomer Yerin Ha as Sophie – the mysterious woman at the heart of his fairy-tale romance. Familiar faces are back too: Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as Penelope and Colin, and Claudia Jessie as the ever-blunt Eloise. And of course, Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) is still reigning with flair. The ton's assembled – and the drama's just getting started When will season 4 be released? But here's the thing – the wait is long. Like, *really* long. Season 3 dropped in two parts in 2024, over two years after Season 2 aired, and Season 4 isn't expected until 2026. And even though Netflix has confirmed Seasons 5 and 6 are in the pipeline, no release dates have been announced. Fans are hyped, but they're also tired of the slow rollout. Still, if there's one thing *Bridgerton* does well, it's making us wait – and want more. So whether you're in it for the scandal, the slow glances, or the secret rendezvous, we'll be here… counting the days (and rewatching Seasons 2 and 3 for the hundredth time). If you love a romance ? Check out all things about the release of Crazy Rich Asians 2.

Bridgerton Season 4 trailer sparks outrage among fans: 'This is ridiculous'

If you've been following the Bridgerton series on Netflix, you're in it for the long haul - literally. The first season of the Regency-era romance was released back in December 2020 - and five years later fans are waiting for Season 4 (following Benedict Bridgerton's love story) to drop. After an initial sneak peak released on Valentine's Day 2025, Netflix just dropped the official teaser for the next installment, featuring Benedict wearing a mask, walking urgently through a masquerade ball. Women around him are vying for his attention, but he stops short as he stumbles upon Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha's character) admiring a chandelier. He continues to watch her in adoration, until a gentleman asks her for a dance. The scene cuts and the words 'COMING 2026' flash across the screen. But rather than react to the scenery or exchange itself, fans focused on one thing: the release date. And they are not happy about it. Fans expressed their anger over having to wait almost two years for a new season of the show Though the teaser didn't specify when in 2026 the season would be released, fans were upset about the wait time in general. The most recent season of Bridgerton (focusing on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton's romance) was released back in May 2024 - with the second half following a month later. Waiting two years for an eight-episode season doesn't seem to be worth it for a lot of viewers. 'This is ridiculous, I'm sorry eight episodes of TV should not take that long,' one user on X, formerly Twitter, shared. 'Two years for eight episodes,' another posted alongside a meme of a man rubbing his forehead in stress. 'Still absolutely no reason for a show like this to come out every other year,' another angry fan wrote. 'Like wtf is the TV industry.' One fan pointed out that this would mean an even longer wait time for the season after that. Some fans expressed that they wouldn't be interested in the upcoming season, considering how long it's taking Netflix to release it 'If they know what is good for them, they should start acting season 5 now,' they shared. Some fans were so fed up that they expressed they were no longer interested in watching the upcoming season. '2026!? You guys can keep it honestly,' one user said. 'By the time we make it to the last sibling, every single actor on this show will be geriatric and I will be going through my third divorce,' another user joked. Still, despite their frustrations fans seem dedicated to the series, which has reached record-breaking viewership each season. Just a month after its full release, Season 3 Netflix's 10th biggest English-language series ever - clocking in 91.9 million views just at its release. Time will only tell whether fans are truly too upset with the series to engage during its 2026 release - or if they'll begrudgingly open their Netflix and break streaming records once again.

Modern slip-up in Bridgerton Season 4 sparks drama as Yerin Ha's bikini tan lines divide fans: 'They could hide Eloise's tattoo'

The Bridgerton Season 4 teaser has finally dropped, bringing all the usual lace, longing glances, and scandal that fans expect from Shondaland. But while the visuals were dreamy, viewers were distracted by something unexpected. The 2026 release date was already a letdown for those hoping for a 2025 premiere, but what really got people talking was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it detail — Yerin Ha's visible bikini tan lines. Fans are now joking that after all the wait, Netflix somehow slipped a modern-day mix-up into a Regency-era drama. Fans spot Yerin Ha's tan lines in the Bridgerton Season 4 teaser Bridgerton Season 4 will follow Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), the free-spirited second son of the family, who has little interest in settling down until he meets a mysterious Lady in Silver (Yerin Ha) at his mother's masquerade ball. The teaser, released on May 14, gave fans a first look at their enchanting meeting, setting the stage for a swoon-worthy romance. But while the moment had all the dreamy vibes, fans couldn't help but notice one very modern detail: Yerin Ha's bikini tan lines. Normally, no one would bat an eye, but in a Regency-era drama known for its elaborate gowns and attention to detail, tan lines peeking through definitely felt out of place. Fans react to the modern-day slip-up in the period drama Eagle-eyed fans were quick to call out the visible bikini tan lines on Yerin Ha in the Bridgerton Season 4 teaser. Many joked that the Regency romance just got a dose of 21st-century beach day realism. However, several users also called out the makers for missing out on intricate details despite taking their sweet time in production. One user shared a picture of Yerin Ha's character, Sophie Baek, from the show, writing, "Bridgerton MUA department—I need to have a word." they could hide eloise's entire back tattoo for all of s1-s3 but somehow they leave her tan lines?? okay… Responding to the post, one user wrote, "They could hide Eloise's entire back tattoo for all of S1-S3, but somehow they leave her tan lines?? Okay…" Another frustrated fan added, "If production and post-production didn't take so long, I might let these details slide. But with the amount of time it takes to film and then go through post-production, I'd expect near perfection (and I'm not talking about the storylines, just these kinds of things)." If production and post-production didn't take so long, I might let these details slide. But with the amount of time it takes to film and then go through post-production, I'd expect near perfection (and I'm not talking about the storylines, just these kinds of things). However, some fans came to the show's defense, pointing out that Yerin Ha's character is a servant, so the tan lines might have been intentional to reflect her time spent working outdoors. One user wrote, "Maybe it's on purpose to show that she is a servant? Cuz they don't have those fancy umbrellas in the sun like the rich?" Another argued, "But wouldn't that work for her character because she's basically a hardworking servant?" maybe its on purpose to show that she is a servant? cuz they dont have those fancy umbrellas in the sun like the rich? But wouldn't that work for her character because she's basically a hard working servant? Bridgerton officially renewed for Seasons 5 and 6 Ahead of Bridgerton Season 4's release, the makers confirmed the show for Seasons 5 and 6. The news was revealed in classic Bridgerton style, through a letter from Lady Whistledown, shared on the show's official Instagram on Wednesday, May 14. 'Dearest Gentle Reader, Rarely is this author granted the opportunity to share with you such information. It is with great pleasure that I can announce Bridgerton shall return for Seasons 5 and 6. Do celebrate accordingly,' the post read.

Bridgerton's latest love interest Yerin Ha on growing up in a family of actresses, in Australia and Korea

Actress Yerin Ha is enjoying the last few months of relative anonymity before the release of Bridgerton season four turns her into a household name. She plays Sophie, the love interest of Benedict, one of the late Viscount Bridgerton's sons. Raised between South Korea and Australia, 27-year-old Ha comes from a family of performers. We caught up with the up-and-coming actress at the Chanel autumn/winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week Is this your first Chanel show? Advertisement This is my first fashion show ever. I feel it's a pinch me moment because I always saw it on social media growing up and [now] I'm here in the flesh, witnessing it. What did you enjoy the most? I think just seeing all the details. It's just like works of art with the amount of detail and the process of getting to a final product – it does remind me a lot of acting, in the sense of the time and detail that people don't realise. What's your first memory of Chanel? Honestly, the handbag. My grandma would always have a Chanel handbag and she loves designer brands, so I remember snooping in her wardrobe and trying on Chanel handbags and Chanel perfumes – it's such a sophisticated logo you can't miss it. Yerin Ha (right) and her actress grandmother Son Sook (front). Photo: @yerinha_/Instagram Your grandmother was an actress and you come from a family of actors. I just kind of found it normal in a way. My grandma is a thespian and my mum grew up around that too. I never had anybody say that I couldn't pursue acting. It's always just been, 'whatever makes you happy', so it's really nice to know that I have people who just support whatever I want to do.
