Vivo V60 leak hints at Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 6,500mAh battery and triple cameras: Launch timeline tipped

Vivo is reportedly gearing up to unveil the successor to its V50 smartphone in India next month. The upcoming Vivo V60, expected to launch on 19 August, has been the subject of several leaks, revealing key specifications, colour variants, and even design renders ahead of its official debut. According to noted tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the Vivo V60 could come equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a notable upgrade over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 featured in the V50. The handset is also said to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery, potentially supporting 90W fast charging, as hinted by recent TUV and SIRIM listings. Brar suggests that the upcoming smartphone may continue the brand's focus on photography, possibly offering 50MP cameras, although the exact camera configuration remains unclear. The leaked renders point to a triple rear camera setup, arranged uniquely within a pill-shaped camera island, with an additional lens and LED flash positioned alongside it. Vivo's branding appears on the bottom-left corner of the rear panel. In terms of aesthetics, the Vivo V60 could be launched in three distinct colour options: Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold, further adding to its premium appeal. Adding to the excitement, the tipster also claims that Vivo might introduce OriginOS, its custom user interface based on Android 16, in India alongside the new handset. This would mark the first appearance of OriginOS in the Indian market, offering a fresh user experience compared to the company's traditional Funtouch OS. The Vivo V60 is expected to bring several upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo V50, which made its Indian debut in February this year. The V50 features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and houses a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Camera-wise, it sports a dual rear camera setup (50MP main + 50MP ultrawide) and a 50MP front camera.

Lava Agni 4 to launch in India soon; Key specifications and pricing tipped online

Lava is preparing to introduce a new smartphone, the Agni 4, in India. This model is expected to follow the Lava Agni 3, which launched in October 2024. Ahead of the official release, details about the Agni 4's design, specifications, and pricing have been surfacing online. Here's what to expect. The Lava Agni 4 is likely to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, an upgrade from the Dimensity 7300X chip used in the Agni 3. Reports suggest the Agni 4 will have a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may include dual 50MP rear cameras arranged horizontally in a pill-shaped camera module with an LED flash between the lenses. This setup contrasts with the triple rear camera system found on the Lava Agni 3. On the other hand, a leaked render shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, suggests that the Lava Agni 4 will feature a metal frame and a white back panel. Unlike the Agni 3's curved edges, the new model might have flat edges. The power and volume buttons could be located on the right side. Notably, the mini AMOLED display on the back of the Agni 3 is missing in the new design, which marks a shift in the device's features. Furthermore, the device is expected to include UFS 4.0 storage to give users a faster data transfer. It may also pack a large 7,000mAh battery, which could offer extended usage without frequent charging. According to a 91Mobiles report, the Agni 4 will retail in India for around Rs. 25,000. This price is higher than the starting price of the Lava Agni 3, which was Rs. 20,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 256GB Agni 3 variant with a charger was priced at Rs. 24,999. The increase in price is likely due to the upgraded processor and other new features. However, Lava has not yet announced the official launch date, pricing, or availability details for the Agni 4. The company has also not confirmed the distribution channels for the upcoming smartphone. Consumers interested in the Lava Agni 4 will need to wait for an official statement from the company for detailed information.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 India Price Leaked Ahead Of July 9 Launch: What It Might Cost You

Last Updated: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 launch is less than 24 hours from now and the company is also bringing more products to its loaded Unpacked event. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and other devices are launching on July 9 and the company's big ticket Unpacked event will be loaded once again. The new foldables will be lining up alongside the Galaxy Watch 8 series, maybe the new Buds, and a quick tease for its rumoured tri-fold Galaxy device. But less than 24 hours before the launch, we now have a clear idea about how Samsung's new Fold 7 model could be priced in India and will people have to spend extra compared to last year for the new foldable device. The new leak comes via tipster Yogesh Brar who claims the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be pricier than the outgoing model. His post suggests the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 price in India could start around Rs 1,75,999 which will be more than Rs 10,000 more than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 launch price in the country. His post even talks about the Vivo X Fold 5 model which is rumoured to launch in India priced at Rs 1,49,999 which will make it a tough competition between the new foldables. Having said that, Samsung brings the latest hardware, which might not happen with the Vivo, going by all the leaked details of the new device. We expect to see a triple rear camera system like its predecessor but hopefully with a 200MP primary sensor and a telephoto lens to boot. The battery size needs to be bumped up as well and Samsung should ideally increase the charging speeds but we don't see that changing this year as well. First Published: July 08, 2025, 12:18 IST

Fold 7 and Flip 7 price leak reveals a huge hike for one 2025 foldable

Fold 7 and Flip 7 price leak reveals a huge hike for one 2025 foldable Samsung's Unpacked event will take place on July 9, the day after tomorrow, and we seem to know pretty much everything about the devices that will be announced. Price is still something of an unknown, and if a couple of new reports are to be believed, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be pricier than its predecessor, but the Flip 7 will not go up in price. Foldable phones are already more expensive than conventional phones, and this is one of the reasons why most people continue to stick with conventional handsets. Book-style foldable phones , in particular, are jaw-droppingly expensive. Samsung raised the price of the Fold by $100 last year to $1,899.99, and the Fold 7 is expected to be even more expensive. According to leaker Yogesh Brar, the Fold 7 will get a price jump in India. The price is expected to increase from INR 149,999 (~$1,748.87) to around INR 175,000 to INR 179,000 (~$2,087). Alleged Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE prices in France. | Image Credit - Dealabs The Fold 7 is also likely to be pricier in France, with leaker @billbil_kun revealing that the 256GB and 512GB models will cost €100 more, while the 1TB variant will be €160 more expensive. A Dutch website had previously also said that the Fold 7 would be more expensive than its predecessor, though this was rebuffed by Roland Quandt, who said the price would remain the same, at least in Germany. With most sources indicating prices may rise, this rumor cannot be easily dismissed. After all, the Fold 7 will pack a slew of improvements, including a thinner and lighter body, larger inner and outer screens, and a 200MP main camera. The Flip 6 starts at $1,099.99 in the US, and @billbil_kun claims the Flip 7 will cost the same. That's even though this phone will also be a significant upgrade and will flaunt a thinner profile, larger screens, and a bigger battery. Today's leak has also revealed the Flip 7 FE's price, which will be a stripped-down version of the Flip 7 . This device will start at €999 (~$1,172.12), which will make it €200 (~$234.65) cheaper than the Flip 7 . Given that the Fold 6 struggled in the market, it doesn't sound like a good idea to increase its successor's price. On the other hand, Samsung may think that the hike is justified because of the various improvements. Customers may not necessarily be willing to pay more for the improvements, which many might say were long overdue anyway. On the bright side, the Flip 7 FE will serve as a entry point for customers who have long been eyeing customers but were deterred by high prices.
