The romantic K-drama Our Unwritten Seoul premiered with the first two episodes on May 24-25, showcasing the intricate bond between twin sisters, portrayed by Park Bo Young. Song Gyeong Gu makes Yoo Mi Rae scream due to embarrassment In episodes 1 and 2, we saw Park Bo Young 's younger twin character Yoo Mi Ji takes her sister Yoo Mi Rae's place, to save her from ending her life due to workplace bullying. The latter now pretends to be Yoo Mi Ji and works in a strawberry farm as Han Se Jin's (Ryu Kyung Soo) partner, pretending to be her. In episode 3, Mi Rae will be offered a ride to work by Mi Ji's ex-boyfriend, Song Gyeong Gu (Moon Dong Hyeok). Thinking Mi Rae was Mi Ji, he almost takes off his shirt to reveal his new tattoo. It makes her extremely uncomfortable, and she covers her eyes with her hands. She mistakes the tattooed character for a rat, which stuns him as real Mi Ji knows that it's his dead pet hamster. She refuses but he keeps insisting; Han Se Jin intervenes telling him to back off as she already said no. The two men then had a moment of argument regarding an ex being worse than a stranger. The entire scene seems like a love triangle conflict, heightening the anticipation for the upcoming episodes. The ex-boyfriend seemingly still had some lingering feelings for Mi Ji and the work partner was increasingly growing interested in Mi Rae (disguised as Mi Ji).

Our Unwritten Seoul premiered with its first two episodes on May 24 and 25. The Saturday-Sunday tvN drama explores the complexities a set of twin sisters face as they grow up, leading to distances between them. Yoo Mi Ji was a promising short-distance runner, but an accidental fall, leading to permanent leg damage, ended her athletic dreams. Yoo Mi Rae, on the other hand, made it to one of the biggest companies of her field, but things turn astray as she becomes the target of workplace bullying. She stops all contact with friends and family, to avoid having them see her weak side. However, the twins' school friend, Lee Ho Su (Park Jinyoung), learns about her whistleblowing case due to being the external legal investigator of the case. An embarrassed Yoo Mi Rae stops responding to his calls and texts and being worried about her, he asks Yoo Mi Ji to check on her. She goes to Seoul and discovers her elder sister's s*icidal tendencies, leading her to switch lives, to save her. They alter hairstyles and take each other's places– Yoo Mi Ji in the Seoul office and Yoo Mi Rae in Han Se Jin (Ryu Kyung Soo)'s strawberry farm. However, a physically-impaired and socially-awkward Lee Ho Su, who had only the sisters as his friends, could tell them apart. He also harbors a secret crush on either of the twins, which led him to watch them closely, and know exactly what their distinct characteristics were like. Although the elder twin didn't want his involvement in her troubled life, the younger one couldn't shun him away.

Park Bo Young reveals WHY it felt like 'shooting 2 dramas' while working on Our Unwritten Seoul: 'Had to memorize...'
In Our Unwritten Seoul, Park Bo Young stars as twin sisters with contrasting traits but an inseparable bond. The filming process was a considerable challenge for the actress, as she had to master playing two distinct characters. She recently discussed the difficulties of her role, especially during scenes featuring interactions between the twins. As per a Variety report, she compared the experience to juggling two full dramas at once. Park Bo Young, known for her roles in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Melo Movie was embarked on a fresh project playing dual roles in Our Unwritten Seoul. With the airing of its first two episodes on May 24 and 25, fans have loved the show, making its ratings soar. Through the drama, viewers witnessed Park Bo Young's flawless performances on screen, but what remains unseen is the immense hard work that went behind it. Regarding playing Yoo Mi Rae and Yoo Mi Ji, she said, "It was much harder than I had imagined." Park Bo Young revealed initially thinking that in the scenes where the sisters interacted, she would just have to memorize the entire script of that part, but later realised "it didn't work that way." Explaining the intricacies of the roles, she said, 'I had to memorize Mi Ji's lines separately, and then Mi Rae's separately. It honestly felt like shooting two dramas at once.' In some joint scenes of the twins, there was a stand-in to assist the actress, however, in some special effects scenes, she had to converse with literally "thin air." She also mentioned that normally she had to react to her scene partner's performance. But in Our Unwritten Seoul, she also had to anticipate and respond to her own performance as the twin sister, since she was playing both roles. This required her to predict how her "other character" would behave, adding complexity to her acting. However, the actress can be said to have used her almost two-decade of acting experience to do justice to the twin roles. Her ability to bring depth and distinctiveness to each character showcases her talent, and the effort she put into making their relationship believable, is evident in every scene.
