Adam Sandler, star of Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and Hotel Transylvania, announces ‘You're my best friend' comedy tour
Adam Sandler has carved out a dedicated niche for himself during his time as an American comedian and actor. With his classic '90s comedies such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and The Waterboy, as well as more recent successes such as Hotel Transylvania, he's brought his own unique charm to Hollywood cinema that's ensured that his films have had a dedicated fanbase even if their critical reception is often lukewarm or divisive.
In 2025, Adam Sandler made a resurgence in the public eye after Netflix announced a sequel to Happy Gilmore. The 1996 film was an underdog story about how the eponymous lead character, played by Sandler, became a golfing sensation in his efforts to save his grandmother's house from being foreclosed.
However, Adam Sandler's career goes well beyond film and television, and he's continuing his live comedy career with the announcement of his 'You're my best friend' tour.
Adam Sandler's comedy tour begins this September
Adam Sandler's tour will begin with a stop at Jacksonville, Florida, on September 5, 2025. Further tour stops include Miami, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Cleveland, Ontario and Boston among other locations. The tour will be concluded in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 1.
Tickets for the 'You're my best friend' tour are now on presale at Live Nation and associated resellers. The general sale of tickets will launch on Ticketmaster on July 27 at 12 p.m local time in the United States.
Adam Sandler's 2024 tour was made into a Netflix special
Adam Sandler's 'You're my best friend' tour comes on the heels of his prior outings in 2023 and 2024. During his 2024 tour, Adam collaborated with filmmaker Josh Safdie to release his sold-out Los Angeles concerts as the Netflix special 'Adam Sandler: Love You'.
The history of Adam Sandler's collaborations with Netflix stretch back even further, as he originally worked with the streaming service in 2018 to launch '100% Fresh', the first comedy special he released in two decades.
With the release of the Happy Gilmore sequel right around the corner on July 25, and his touring career still going strong, Adam Sandler has shown that he's more than capable of reinventing himself to adapt to changing times.
