Former X Factor contestant Amelia Lily has revealed that she has welcomed her first child with her fiancée. The singer and TV personality took to social media to share their news by uploading pictures of her newborn daughter. The 30-year-old shared how she had gone through 'rough times' during her pregnancy. Writing on Instagram, she said: 'The best secret we've ever kept… 'Myself and Eddie would like to introduce our daughter. Pearl McQueen. 'Born 23.05.25 at 10:11am weighing a little chunky 8.12lbs. 9 months of carrying you Pearl and being in our little pregnancy bubble. Now you are finally here.' She then continued: 'We've had a bit of a rough start but we're on the mend now.' 'I cannot thank all the midwife's, nurses and consultants at James Cook hospital enough for looking after us both. I'll forever be grateful. 'Baby Pearl, you have made all our dreams come true.' Last year, Aemlia announced her engagement to Eddie McQueen, the son of late Scottish footballer Gordon McQueen. In 2011, Amelia captured the nation's attention when she finished in third place on the eighth series of X Factor. More Trending Lily is remembered for her part in one of the most famous moments in The X Factor history, when she was voted back onto the show after her elimination as a replacement for Frankie Cocozza, who broke competition rules and had to be removed. After reaching the final and finishing in third place behind Marcus Collins and Little Mix, she scored a hit single with You Bring Me Joy. Following X Factor, she went on to join the cast of Geordie Shore in 2020 and has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. View More » More to follow. Got a story?
