Robbie Brady and Julie-Ann Russell nominated for two gongs apiece at FAI International Awards
Republic of Ireland left-back Robbie Brady and former women's international Julie Ann-Russell are both nominated for two prizes apiece at the FAI International Awards.
Brady will vie with his Boys in Green team-mates Nathan Collins and Caoimhin Kelleher for Senior Men's International Player of the Year, while the now-retired Russell is up against Kyra Carusa and Anna Patten for the women's award.
Brady and the now-retired Russell have also been separately nominated for Goal of the Year for strikes against Finland and France respectively, along with Evan Ferguson for his finish against Bulgaria in March's Nations League promotion/relegation play-off second leg.
Taking in performances from June 2024 to May 2025, the eventual award winners will be presented with their trophies in the Aviva Stadium ahead of the men's friendly between Ireland and Senegal on Friday, 6 June.
Meanwhile, Abbie Larkin, Jessie Stapleton and Tyler Toland are up for the Young Women's International award, with Finn Azaz, Festy Ebosele and Jake O'Brien vying for the men's category.
