New images of a wanted group have been released after an 'outrageous' hammer attack during an armed robbery in Brisbane that put a man in hospital.

Four males entered a jewellery shop on Gympie Road, Chermside, just after 5pm on Tuesday.
They were wearing masks and were allegedly armed with hammers and metal bars.
Glass cabinets were smashed and a large amount of jewellery was taken before the group left in a stolen Honda CR-V with registration plates 495 ZJW.
A 38-year-old male employee was hit in the head with a hammer, and later transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
Police believe the incident is linked to another armed robbery in Lutwyche on May 8.
'There is absolutely no place for violent crimes,' Detective Senior Sergeant Ken Rogers said in a statement. 'These offences are outrageous.'

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Work has begun on the Story Bridge to prepare for installation of new footpath decking.
About half-a-dozen workers in high-vis shirts could be seen laying material on the closed-off walkways from about 8am on Wednesday.
Story Bridge footpath works have begun.
'There were two teams … our day-to-day maintenance crew and the team doing preparatory works ahead of the installation of the replacement footpath decking,' a council spokesperson said.
It comes about three months after the footpaths were closed.

Documents tabled in council have since revealed significant damage. A report on March 5 – the day the walkways were closed – recommended pedestrians be barred until it could be confirmed pressure would not cause a collapse.
It's unclear how long it will take to reopen the footpaths.

Again, the temperature in Brisbane isn't expected to rise into the 20s, but (slight) relief for those not impressed with the cold is coming.
