Bloomberg Television rebrands its monthly Africa show to ‘Next Africa'

Bloomberg Television has announced the rebrand of its monthly Africa show to become Next Africa, integrating its television, podcast, and newsletter coverage under a single brand delivering all the latest news and analysis from the worlds of finance, business and beyond. The show's previous name was Africa Amplified. Anchored by Bloomberg Television Chief Africa Correspondent Jennifer Zabasajja from Bloomberg's Johannesburg studio, Next Africa will feature live reporting from Johannesburg, Kigali, and Lagos, delivering on-the-ground analysis and real-time coverage of Africa's most pressing developments. Zabasajja also supports with Bloomberg Television's regional morning show, Bloomberg Horizons Middle East and Africa, which airs every Monday to Friday in the UAE and is anchored by Joumanna Bercetche from Dubai. Next Africa will continue to air on the fourth Friday of every month, providing an in-depth look at the forces shaping the continent's future. All changes will be effective on February 28. The programme is supported by Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt's leading private sector bank, which has signed on as the exclusive sponsor across TV, podcast, newsletter, digital and social formats. The show will be streamed live on and available to Bloomberg Terminal subscribers globally, with broadcast television available locally on MultiChoice, AVO TV, and Discover Digital. This content also taps into Bloomberg's global network of more than 3000 journalists and analysts.

'Next Africa' will continue to air on the fourth Friday of every month, providing an in-depth look at the forces shaping the continent's future. Bloomberg Television has rebranded its monthly Africa-focused show as Next Africa , unifying its television, podcast and newsletter content under one name to provide comprehensive news and analysis on finance, business and key developments across the continent. Previously known as Africa Amplified , the revamped programme aims to offer deeper insights into Africa's evolving economic landscape. Anchored by Jennifer Zabasajja, Bloomberg Television's Chief Africa Correspondent, Next Africa will broadcast live from Bloomberg's Johannesburg studio, featuring on-the-ground reporting from Johannesburg, Kigali and Lagos. The show will air on the fourth Friday of every month, with its first episode under the new brand launching on February 28. Zabasajja also contributes to Bloomberg Horizons Middle East and Africa, a regional morning show anchored by Joumanna Bercetche from Dubai, which airs daily in the UAE.
