Newport: Oodles Wok creating 15 jobs with new restaurant
Oodles Wok, a UK-based Eastern fusion food brand, will open its second Welsh restaurant in the city centre on April 30.
The restaurant, which will be located at Unit 4, 158-160 Cardiff Road, will have an open kitchen, where customers can watch their food being prepared.
To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will be giving away free food.
The first 100 customers on both April 30 and May 1 will receive a free box of food.
Oodles Wok is coming to Newport (Image: Supplied) The giveaway will take place from 11am to 11pm on both days, and will include items such as Oodles Crispy Chicken, Wok Fired Beef, and a range of vegetarian and paneer options.
Zahid Lone, franchise partner for the Newport location, said: "We're thrilled to bring Oodles Wok to Newport.
"The onboarding experience has been fantastic, with amazing support throughout.
"We're excited to introduce a unique Asian-fusion dining experience at unbeatable prices — something truly fresh for the local food scene."
The restaurant will also create around 15 new jobs, including chefs, kitchen assistants, and customer service staff.

As well as the free food, the launch event will also include entertainment and other giveaways.
Customers will be able to order food for collection or delivery through the Oodles Wok App, as well as through Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.
