Drones worth Rs 35 lakh seized from two passengers at Coimbatore airport
COIMBATORE: Officers of the customs intelligence unit seized drones worth Rs 35 lakh from two passengers who arrived at the Coimbatore International Airport from Singapore on Tuesday.
The customs officers intercepted the two passengers, identified as Sankarguru Subramanian and Zahir Hussain, and checked their luggage. They found drones, including DJI Air 3S Fly More Combo, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini 4 Pro, and DJI Mini 4K. These were China-made drones.
