AMD participates at Leap 2025 and opens KSA branch office in Riyadh

AMD, the high performance and adaptive computing leader, will participate at Leap 2025 to demonstrate its leadership performance data centre and AI portfolio alongside Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Furthermore, AMD has now opened a branch office in Riyadh to better support customers and partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). 'Saudi Arabia is one of the world's fastest-growing technology marketplaces and Leap 2025 serves as an ideal opportunity to showcase our leading-edge technologies and innovative solutions for the HPC and Enterprise markets', said Zaid Ghattas, META Regional Lead, AMD. 'Establishing an official presence in the Kingdom underlines the growing importance of the Kingdom and we are excited about the opportunities this will bring'. At Leap 2025, AMD and HPE will demonstrate a range of solutions to support the high-performance computing (HPC) and AI needs of enterprise customers. The technology demos planned at the show include: HPE Private Cloud solutions for Enterprise and AI leveraging AMD 4 th and 5 th Gen EPYC™ CPUs. Data storage and analytics Solution supported by AMD EPYC Embedded CPUs. High Performance and Mission Critical Solutions powered by AMD Instinct™ MI300A, MI300X and MI325X, with AMD EPYC CPUs. HPE AI solution powered on HPE Compute Portfolio – working on AMD Instinct AI Accelerators and EPYC CPUs. Interactive demo of El Capitan, the world's fastest supercomputer, powered by the AMD Instinct MI300A APU. Furthermore, Phil Guido, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, AMD will participate in a panel discussion entitled 'The Executive Lens: Tech and Global Business'. During the session, which takes place on February 9th at 17.45 Arabian Standard Time (AST), panellists will discuss the commercial opportunities KSA offers global technology players and share their experiences of doing business with customers and partners in the Kingdom.
