Plans for takeaway, restaurant and new flats submitted for city council this week
New takeaways, flats and solar panels have been submitted to Oxford City Council this week.
Abul Boshor has submitted an application to change the use of a building from a takeaway to a cafe in Girdlestone Road.
The plan is for the Indian eatery Nawabi.
Its planning papers said: 'Change of use to a café is to make the business more viable.
'There is to be seating at tables and chairs, using the existing shop front area.
'The existing counter is to be removed, and service from Kitchen and Prep Room, is via two existing doors.
'No changes to access are proposed in this application.'

Kebab King (Image: Oxford City Council) Zalaikha Bi has submitted plans to convert a retail store into a takeaway in Cowley Road.
The unit in question is Fred's Discount Store and the plan is to convert it into Kebab King.
The planning statement said: 'It is proposed to change the use of the existing premises from retail shop to a new take away facility.
'The design reflects the character and appearance of the general shape of the existing buildings and compliments the buildings adjoining the site.
'Precedent has been set by the adjacent food outlets along Cowley Road.
'The design arises from consideration and assessment of the original properties within the surrounding area.
'Assessment of the buildings within the locality leads to the conclusion that the design adopted is appropriate.'
Plans have been lodged by an applicant listed as Mr. M Aggwani for the demolition of existing buildings to provide commercial space and five two-bed flats in Windmill Road.
The scheme also includes bin and cycle storage.
The building in question used to be occupied by Step By Step Dance School.
Its planning papers said: 'Overall, the scheme aims to redevelop a brownfield site in a sustainable way that meets current needs within the city.
'The design aims to maximize the useable land, whilst at the same time providing accommodation in compliance with current policies.
'The scheme aims to harmonize the overall built form to ensure a better degree of consistency and incorporate design that is a visual improvement for this site.'
An application has been submitted by Bradley Soule for works which include the addition of 10 solar panels on a property in Herschel Crescent.
The scheme also includes a rear dormer in association with a loft conversion, one rooflight, an air source heat pump, replacement front door and external wall insulation.
A new application has been submitted by Kristiyan Rusinov for new signage for eateries in St Clement's Street.
A plan for The Greek Box and The Sushi Box was previously withdrawn.
