What! The mysterious alien mummies found in Peru were murdered?
The Nazca desert in Peru, famous for its mysterious geoglyphs, has also become the center of a modern mystery that is among the most famous mysteries of the world. Since 2017, some small, strange mummified bodies with elongated skulls, three fingers, and a strange appearance.
Initially dismissed by many as hoaxes or made-up stories, these so-called 'alien' mummies regained attention in 2023 when they were publicly displayed during Mexico's first-ever congressional hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UFOs).
Uncovered by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, the mummies were originally presented as possible extraterrestrial remains. DNA analyses appeared to show that some of the specimens were partially human while others were linked to unknown species, and there were also discussions about how these mysterious beings may have died.
A new series of forensic examinations now suggests that some of these mummies may not have simply died naturally or through ritual burial. Shocking new evidence points to violent and traumatic deaths, giving a darker chapter in the already controversial story of Peru's Nazca mummies.
Were there violent ends to these mummies?
Recent analysis conducted by Dr. Jose Zalce, former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, has brought forward chilling new details, and according to Daily Star, Zalce examined 21 mummified bodies and confirmed that three in particular, Maria, Montserrat, and Antonio, show signs of having died violently.

Maria, believed to be a 5'6" female aged between 35 and 45 years, showed clear indications of trauma. Zalce's examination revealed 'a deep cut and bite marks on her lower pelvis, along with multiple small puncture wounds extending from her tailbone to her hip.' He further said that 'the skin and fat in the area had been removed, and two of her tailbone vertebrae were broken.' A zigzag-shaped wound suggested she may have suffered a fatal fall.
, Zalce concluded that this evidence strongly points to a 'violent and traumatic' death.
In Montserrat's case, a CT scan uncovered a chest wound between the fifth and sixth ribs, and fractures in the scapula and ribs. The positioning suggested she was upright with her back against a hard surface when she died. Apart from that, another notable conclusion was that Montserrat, like Maria, had an elongated skull and three fingers, as well as intact internal organs.
Antonio's body, studied by Dr. David Ruiz Vela, former president of Peru's Medical Association, revealed a deadly stab wound. 'The injury was severe,' Dr. Vela reported, with broken ribs and perforated internal organs, including the liver and abdomen.
'These are yet more pieces of clear and irrefutable evidence that these bodies are 100% genuine, real, and organic, having once been alive,' Zalce said.
Whether human, hybrid, or something else, these mysterious remains now tell more of a chilling story, one not just of their origins, but possibly of their violent end.
