Douglas, 80, took to Instagram to celebrate daughter Carys Zeta Douglas, 22, on Monday. "So Catherine and I have just been to our daughter's college graduation and I just want to take a moment and congratulate all of you out there who are graduating from high school or college, as you begin your next chapter. Have a good one," he said in a video. The post then cuts to assorted clips from graduation day, including Carys posing for photos and the family walking to the ceremony. Zeta-Jones, 55, posted a photograph of herself and Douglas kissing Carys on the cheeks. "The night before graduation! We are both such proud parents right now! It's only just begun!" she captioned the photo. Douglas and Zeta-Jones also have a son together, Dylan Michael Douglas, 24. Douglas and ex-wife Diandra Luker share 46-year-old Cameron Douglas. Carys Douglas graduated from Brown University in Providence, R.I., according to People. Catherine Zeta-Jones to return to Wales in new Amazon Prime series

Catherine Zeta-Jones will be returning to her hometown of Swansea to star in a new revenge thriller for Amazon Prime. Based on the novel The Price You Pay by Nick Harkaway as his pseudonym Aidan Truhen, the Oscar-winning actress from the Mumbles will take a walk down memory lane in her leading role in Kill of the eight-part series will begin in March, with filming to take place in Swansea, Bilbao, Lisbon and London, according to Prime Video. Speaking about the series, Zeta-Jones, 55, said she is "thrilled" to be involved both behind and in front of the camera, as she also takes on the executive producer role. The Chicago star will play Jackie Price, an extravagant jet-setter who is trying to stay anonymous after escaping a "dangerous past as an international cocaine dealer," says Amazon Prime. Zeta-Jones said she is looking forward to the opportunity to explore a female-driven plot that "encompasses empowerment, identity and redemption". Co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures, the series is expected to hit our screens in 2026, but an official release date is yet to be announced. Along with her husband Michael Douglas, Zeta-Jones is reported to own several houses over the world, including homes in California, Spain and April 2024, Zeta-Jones posted a photo of a rainbow in the Mumbles to her Instagram page, which sent Welsh fans into a frenzy. Zeta-Jones is perhaps best known for her Oscar winning supporting role in Chicago (2002), The Legend of Zorro (2005), and more recently starring as Moritia Adams in Netflix's Wednesday (2022). In 2011, she was made a CBE for her services to the film industry and Jackie comes from BBC spy thriller Killing Eve's Damon Thomas as lead director, and Netflix crime series Gangs Of London's Tom Butterworth as writer and said the pairs ambition is to twist and expand Mr Harkaway's novel into something "equally funny, dark, crazed and unique, or die trying".

Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to star in the upcoming revenge thriller series Kill Jackie (working title), based on Nick Harkaway's novel The Price You Pay, written under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen. The series is a collaboration between Prime Video, Fremantle, and Steel Springs Pictures and will begin production in March. Zeta-Jones will portray Jackie Price, a woman who has spent the last two decades living a life of luxury. She enjoys traveling, selling fine art through clever tax loopholes, and maintaining a low profile after escaping a dangerous past in the international cocaine trade. However, Jackie's life takes a deadly turn when she learns that The Seven Demons, a group of ruthless hitmen, has been hired to kill her. Assuming the threat comes from someone in her past, Jackie reactivates her old instincts and embarks on a mission to take down the killers one by one. As she uncovers buried secrets, Jackie discovers that her own demons might be far more terrifying than the hitmen on her trail. In addition to starring in the series, Zeta-Jones will also serve as an executive producer. She expressed excitement about exploring a complex character and a female-driven plot filled with empowerment, identity, and redemption. Filming will take place in several cities, including Bilbao, Lisbon, London, and Swansea. Kill Jackie will be available for streaming on Prime Video across various countries, with Fremantle handling most international sales. The series will be directed by Damon Thomas (Killing Eve) with Tom Butterworth (Gangs of London) as writer and showrunner. Zeta-Jones joins a talented creative team, including co-writer Conor Keane and executive producers Peter Lawson, Jose Augustin Valdes, and Dante Di Loreto. Kill Jackie promises a thrilling mix of dark comedy, unexpected twists, and intense action.
