Under the agreement, Emerge will provide a full turnkey solution, including finance, design, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance of the installation for 25 years. The solar power plant is expected to supply 35 per cent of the electricity required to operate Tanmiah's agricultural processing facility, reducing carbon emissions by more than 3,850 tonnes annually — the equivalent of the yearly electricity consumption of over 800 households.
