FYI: The Series 10 Apple Watch Just Dropped to Its Lowest Price Ever
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Memorial Day weekend is here — and in addition to honoring military heroes (first and foremost) and plenty of summer fun, the long weekend brings deals galore. Although tech isn't traditionally at its lowest prices during Memorial Day, we are seeing some decent Apple discounts that can help you save up to $100, should you be ready to upgrade your AirPods or Apple Watch right away. While Apple tech is frequently discounted on Amazon, our shopping editors keep a close eye on these prices, so we know which deals are worth shopping — and which you can wait on. The Series 10 Apple Watch is $100 off, dropping the newest model to its lowest price ever. We're also eyeing an opportunity to save $100 on the newest MacBook Air and a $70 price cut on the revamped AirPods Max. Plus, every single iPad, from the entry-level model to the travel-friendly iPad Mini is discounted. Shop Now That being said, Amazon's Apple prices and stock have been fluctuating all week long in the lead-up to Memorial Day weekend. The AirPods Pro 2 have been going in and out of stock, as have some Apple Watch colors. Long story short, because stock is unpredictable, if you an upgrade and see a price you like, add it to your cart. But generally, we expect steeper Prime Day discounts later this summer. As with any major sale, we'll keep this updated with the latest deals.$249.00 at at at at at at at at at at at at at at Although Apple doesn't have a Memorial Day sale of its own, we typically see retailers like Amazon and Walmart drop prices on Apple tech during holiday weekends. This year's Memorial Day discounts are mild, but they likely won't last beyond Monday, May 26. If you're looking for the best of the best Apple savings, Black Friday is historically your best bet. But if you can't wait that long, summer sales like Memorial Day or Prime Day are still a good time to upgrade. These $42 Sandals Are Olsen-Approved and Perfect for Long Walks
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." There are few things I wouldn't do to possess the style and credit card limit to facilitate dressing like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. At various points in their decade-spanning careers as actors-turned-fashion designers they have inspired me to bash up my designer handbags, put loads of tiny, sparkly butterfly clips in my hair and spend way too much money on the 'perfect' white T-shirt.$42.00 at And since my budget can far from stretch to include The Row's Ginza or Fisherman sandals, it was a no-brainer to opt for Mary-Kate-approved Teva Voya Infinity sandals. And let me tell you: they have proved to be the most practical, affordable and downright useful summer shoes I own. Back in 2019, the younger of the twins was spotted out wearing the $42 sandals a few times, and they have become a cult favorite ever since then. Thanks to their foam-cushioned base and elasticated straps, they are extremely comfortable, while still being extremely chic. Mary Kate wore hers with cropped trousers and baggy hoodies, but they really work with everything from hiking gear to linen dresses. With many embarking on the beginning of their Euro summer holidays, where 15k step days are standard fare and day-to-night dressing is actually a thing, Teva's Voya Infinity sandals are a wise purchase. And they are still in stock—for the time being—on Amazon right now. Save up to 48% on Amazon Kindle E-Readers for Memorial Day
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Popular Kindle models, like the Paperwhite Kids, are up to $40 off. Used Kindle models like the popular Paperwhite edition are almost half off. There are tons of e-books across many genres with incredible deals, too. Reading is priceless, but Kindles are expensive. This Memorial Day, a few of the e-reader devices are on sale, which means it's the perfect time to invest if you're a bookworm or have one in your life. Kindles are great for readers who like to take an entire library with them on the go. If you think about it, an e-reader is a really good deal—especially considering that e-books also tend to be much cheaper than physical ones. This holiday, we're seeing different variations of the Kindle Paperwhite Kids on sale. (Yes, those are obviously good for your young ones, but a common hack shared on TikTok is investing in those for yourself since they serve the same purpose.) There are also used Kindles on sale, as well as riveting e-books across many genres that are definitely worth checking out. The New Amazon Kindle Kids (which, by the way, comes with no ads) is almost 20 percent off. What's also great about the new Paperwhite Kids is that it comes with faster page-turning features for our quick readers and parental controls if you are indeed buying this one for a child. Also on sale is the larger version of the Kindle Paperwhite Kids, which is now $40 off. It comes with a glare-free screen, waterproof features, plus all the other specs the smaller Amazon Kindle Kids has. (Again, it has no ads for the adults who want to use it for themselves.) There are also used models of popular Kindles on sale, which have all gone through a quality test to make sure they are up to par with functional standards. Those include the standard Amazon Kindle and the more elite Amazon Kindle Paperwhite.$139.99 at $104.99 at $66.82 at $72.48 at Now that you've got your Kindle, it's time for the fun part: buying some books! One of Oprah's Book Club picks is now on sale: An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. We've also got some romantic storylines brewing, with Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry and some popular new picks already on sale, like Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. Plus, there are book-to-movie adaptations that everyone loves to judge (whether good or bad) that are worth your investment. You kind of get the point now, though.$5.99 at at at at at at at at at You Might Also Like Nicole Richie's Surprising Adoption Story The Story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Her Mother Queen Camilla's Life in Photos

How to Style Your Smart Ring, According to Model Alice McNally
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." This is Locked In, a quarterly column exploring where tech meets fashion, straight from the industry's innovators. From viral gadgets to must-have accessories, discover the chicest ways to make your everyday devices part of your everyday wardrobe. Wearable tech has come a long way. So far, in fact, that it's now actually chic—'and so much easier to integrate into your life,' says model Alice McNally, who's partial to layering her gadgets into her looks. If you haven't heard Alice's name yet, get ready to start seeing it everywhere. She's modeled for SKIMS and Eckhaus Latta (remember their Getty-esque campaign featuring a crying fangirl? That was Alice!) as well as made the occasional appearance on her famous NYC restaurateur father's Instagram account. She's the dictionary definition of a cool girl and also a total jewelry lover. '[Creating the perfect ring stack] is about finding the balance between delicate simplicity and statement-making pieces,' Alice told Cosmo on the set of her shoot. And if one of those statement-making pieces is a smart ring, even better. The Ōura ring, for example, can track your resting heart rate, body temperature, sleep, and stress levels, giving you daily insight into your health. Its titanium band is surprisingly lightweight and goes with pretty much everything—a fancy cocktail dress, the statement jacket you just bought, or even your latest vintage find. It's a true case of more is more: more personalized information about your body, more opportunities to showcase your personal style. Definitely maximalist. I just like to go big and bold. It's a really fun way of expressing yourself. Multiple necklaces and rings and tons of ear piercings. Oh my god. Yes. I'm a huge jewelry person. I'm pure silver. I usually never wear gold—I feel like it doesn't look as good on me, but I'm thinking of going by season this year. So in the summer, go with gold, and then in the winter, go with silver and more cool tones. It's about finding the balance between delicate simplicity and statement-making pieces. Combining the two and finding a happy medium. If you're styling a smart ring, it's a larger band, so I would stack it with two thinner bands. The Ōura Ring is so pretty. You can incorporate it into your own personal style.$349.00 at at at at at at I would say it's pretty eclectic. I really like wearing color, being bold with my fashion, experimenting, trying new things always, and just seeing what works best for me. I do like a good piece of chunky jewelry. I normally have huge hoops in. I'm jewelry obsessed. I have so many rings. I love going to flea markets. But most of my rings I actually got in Indonesia, in Bali. I have my grandma's diamond ring, her engagement ring, which is really precious. I don't like to wear it all the time because I want to keep it safe. I also have a necklace that was my mom's, but it's gold so I don't wear it too often either. And then my sister gave me a necklace for my birthday and it has our birthstones on it. I think it's definitely gotten more beautiful. Tech started out as so chunky and bulky, but it's progressed so much and become so chic and wearable now. I feel like people used to opt out of certain items because of the way it looked and now beauty and tech are being integrated. The Ōura Ring is so easy. Like, you can stack it and everything. Always have a good pair of comfy shoes. Invest in a good staple coat. And then just have fun with the rest of it. You have to be able to be yourself in your clothing. Just trusting in yourself. You don't have to comply with what everyone else wants you to do. Not being so heavily persuaded by other people's opinions takes a lot of time to learn. But just standing your ground. People always have opinions and are judging, but I think it's important to remember that no one cares as much as you do. Like, go have fun with your outfit. Some people are not going to like it and that's okay, because you know you're comfortable and putting yourself first. This interview has been lightly edited and condensed for clarity.
