The bonds between animals of different species will never cease to be amazing because they can have the most incredible depth and endless love, especially between young, baby animals and their surrogate parents.
Just take the precious little baby raccoon and the loving German Shepherd that has become his surrogate father, for instance.
Well, if this doesn't warm your heart, we don't know what will! Luke, the German Shepherd, seems to very naturally fit the role of dad. It's almost as if he were born to be a father!
And this precious little raccoon baby was just born to act like a precious little puppy. And it's just too cute! How can this video not give everyone who watches it their daily dose of cuteness overload?Luke's patient, understanding nature really shines through in this video. Just look at how this precious little raccoon baby climbs all over him, but not once does Luca get annoyed. In fact, Luke appears to be having a grand old time playing with him!
As this other incredibly adorable video shows, this precious little baby raccoon is just another member of this big, happy farm family. Here they can be seen enjoying a nice stroll along the lake at sunset.
It's a view that is stunning as it is peaceful, which is perhaps why this little guy decided to curl up into a ball and take a nap. While this is total cuteness overload, it is getting dark, and time for them to return home.
Thankfully, Luke, the German Shepherd, is there to nuzzle him and give him some loving licks to help wake him up! Then, they are on the way back home. And as tired as he may be, this precious little raccoon baby is able to get up and start the journey home.
