Save the date: Addy Awards Gala at LSUS University Ballroom
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The LSU Shreveport University Ballroom will be the setting for an upcoming event that will recognize outstanding creative work by advertising students and professionals in Northwest Louisiana.
The 63rd Annual American Advertising Awards Gala, hosted by the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier, will be held on Feb. 15 at 6:00 p.m. The local competition is part of a three-tier national competition, as Gold and Silver ADDYs winners will move on to the district level. If they win there, they will progress to the national level.
Twenty-three student and 62 professional entries are competing for this year's ADDY awards.
Dellanee Wade, the AAA Chair and VPI, said the level of creativity in the Shreveport-Bossier area continues to impress and inspire. Wade also said that this year's theme, Murder at ADDY Manor, will bring an exciting and interactive experience to attendees. The event is set to become an unforgettable night of mystery, celebration, and networking.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from a raffle at the event will benefit The Arc Caddo-Bossier.
Mack Newlan, the AAA Co-Chair, said the Arc Caddo-Bossier's dedication to our community aligns perfectly with AAA's mission.
'We can't wait to see the positive impact this fundraiser will have,' said Newlan.
