Cheaper Eggs, Pricier Car Rentals: A Look at US April Inflation
US inflation rose by less than expected in April, helped by steep declines in prices for sporting events, eggs and other groceries.
Audio equipment costs, meanwhile, jumped by the most on record, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data out Tuesday. Consumer prices for car rentals and computer software also climbed.
