Over 4,500 security officers deployed as 47 countries attend Shangri-La Dialogue until Jun 1
More than 4,500 security officers have been deployed for the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. They include the police, auxiliary police officers and support teams. Motorists in and around the Shangri-La Hotel are advised to expect delays, as several roads have been partially closed. Inside the hotel, all guests are subject to detailed checks before attending meetings and forums. Aslam Shah reports.
