Early morning fire burns down barn in Black Forest

(BLACK FOREST, Colo.) — Black Forest Fire and Rescue reported that crews from multiple agencies responded to an outbuilding fire a little after midnight on Snow Mass Drive between Black Forest Road and Herring Road, in which a barn burned down in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 17. According to CSFD, around 12:15 a.m., crews from Black Forest Fire and Rescue, Monument Fire Protection District, Falcon Fire Department, Cimarron Hills Fire Department, and Peyton Fire Protection District responded to the fire after the glow in the sky was visible from Station 2. When the crews arrived in the area, they searched for the fire and a way to access it. Once they found the correct location, a supply line was laid from the entrance to the driveway. Crews discovered a 40×40 ft. barn fully engulfed in flames, already having collapsed to the ground. Crews coordinated the water supply utilizing several vehicles and lines to knock down the fire and begin mop-up operations, working for about three hours before finishing. All people and animals were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. David and Victoria Beckham WIN war with neighbours – as shock family feud rumbles on

DAVID and Victoria Beckham have been giving good news amidst their ongoing family feud after winning a war with neighbours. The Sun can exclusively reveal that the couple have been given the green light to build a barn on their £6million Cotswolds estate. 5 5 David, 50, and Victoria, 51, had riled locals with their plans for the barn, with one even objecting that it was "silly". Green-fingered David had asked planners for the right to build an 'agricultural storage barn for hay/straw and agricultural equipment' on his land. But the plans were criticised by neighbours, with one moaning: "This is just the latest in a long line of applications to build new structures on this land, plus a giant lake. "Why do famous people move out to the country and then clutter up their land with endless buildings and make silly alterations? It makes no sense.' Another disgruntled neighbour who complained to the council stated: "Many people locally indicated to West Oxfordshire Council that the increase in the residential curtilage of this property will see an ever-increasing number of buildings, and to date we have all been proved right.' Despite the complaints, the Beckhams ' timber-clad structure has been given the thumbs up by West Oxfordshire District Council. The council made the decision that the 'proposed development will not require approval' and stated it can be built in line with the submitted plans. The news comes amid David and Victoria's growing feud with their son Brooklyn. Last weekend, David threw a lavish bash for his 50th birthday but Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were been nowhere to be seen. The Sun was the first to reveal that their eldest son would be snubbing the celebrations in London after jetting back to the US. Becks held his huge party for his family and friends at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, London. As part of the evening's celebrations, their middle son Romeo delivered a heart-warming speech in place of his missing elder brother. The Mirror reported that Romeo, 22, started his speech - which involved a number of cue cards by saying: "Good evening everyone. I would like to start by thanking you all for being here tonight. "I know without many of you in here tonight he wouldn't be half of the man he is today. But to the man of the moment..." He then proceeded to talk at length about his father, who had a glittering career at football clubs including Manchester United and Real Madrid, as well as 58 caps and 115 appearances for England. A-list guests included Tom Cruise, Guy Ritchie and Gordon Ramsay as well as David's football pals including best friend Gary Neville, attended the party. David and Victoria have since shared an array of photographs taken on the night - but did not mention 26-year-old Brooklyn's absence. Victoria captioned hers on Instagram: "Creating special memories with family and friends." She also tagged her three youngest children, adding: "We love you all @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx." David has, however, since posted a separate photo of Romeo and Cruz on a fishing trip in Scotland. He captioned it: 'You were missed Brooklyn'. Prior to the party getting underway, a source said: "David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it. 'Tonight is all about celebration and love, and he is swimming in it. 'Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind. 'It's a dagger to the heart that he hasn't attended a single one of David's 50th celebrations - and hurts the whole family including the grandparents and siblings. 'Brooklyn is a really sweet boy and everyone loves him dearly. They just hope things can be patched up soon. 'In the mean time, everyone around David are doing all they can to give him a magical evening to remember.' Brooklyn, who previously fell out with his parents shortly after his marriage to American actress Nicola in 2022, was also nowhere to be seen on David's actual birthday in the south of France last Friday. 5 5 5
