Military recruitment is up, U.S. Army hits recruitment milestone
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Military recruitment is up.
According to the U.S. Army, as of April, they've enlisted almost 52,000 recruits.
Nearly 14,000 of those recruits were signed up last year for the service's delayed entry program and are now being sent out to basic training. Their goal for this year is 61,000.
