I tried 5 buys to get rid of my strawberry legs this summer, one was agonising and even turned me & my bath orange

WHATEVER your views on body hair may be, the majority of women try to remove it. In fact around 90% of women in the UK shave their legs, and as I'm too much of a wimp for waxing, I'm one of them. 7 7 But sensitive skin and shaving twice a week don't go well together and often I end up with strawberry legs I want to cover up anyway. It's an issue many people face and occurs when your hair follicles or pores are clogged with dirt, dead skin, bacteria or oil, which typically happens with shaving. But as we are set for a hot summer this year, I would like to get my legs out as much as possible. So I put five products to the test to see what would get rid of them so I can finally wear a skirt in confidence this summer. Venus Satin Care Women's Shaving Gel Sensitive Shaving Gel, £2 While most people swear by shaving foams for a smooth shave, I always find them to make my sensitive skin dry and itchy. Unfortunately, Venus' Satin Care shaving foam for sensitive skin, which is currently £2 was no different. While it did make shaving that bit more fun with all the foam, as soon as my legs were dry I wanted to scratch them and notice the dreaded red dots immediately. Rating 2/5 7 Fab Daily tests out the new face shaving product made popular on TikTok Veet Expert Miraculous Oil, £5.99 Like shaving foams, I find a lot of shaving oils have the opposite effect for my skin and tend to cause a reaction. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I didn't get the same reaction from the Veet Miraculous Oil. It was super moisturising and gave me a smooth shave, however, not as close to the skin as usual. I also used this after the shower and found it calmed down any red skin trying to make an appearance. Rating 3/5 Estrid Pre-Shave Treatment, £7.95 I tend to roll my eyes at the thought of a scrub actually exfoliating my legs, but I was pleasantly surprised with Estrid's Pre-shave Treatment. It had a light lather to it, and the beads worked well enough to get rid of any dead skin, making for a smooth shave. I stepped out of the shower and moisturised like I usually do and was happy to report I had no itching or red skin. Even the next day, my skin looked smooth, and there was no sight of strawberry skin. My only issue with the product is that it costs £7.95, which is pretty pricey considering how regularly I'd use it. Rating 4/5 7 Fabulous' £10 Fake Tan Test FINDING the perfect fake tan isn't easy. That's why Fabulous tested a number of fake tans which cost less than £10.. *If you click on a link in this boxout we will earn affiliate revenue Superdrug Solait Self Tan Mousse Medium - £4.79 (was £5.99) - Buy Now Tester: Abby Wilson, Senior Fabulous Digital Writer Review: "This product give a very natural looking tan and if you wanted something a bit bolder, I'd suggest leaving it on longer or choosing a darker shade. I'm impressed with the results, but now my entire room stinks of the stuff. If you're on a budget and want a tan for last-minute plans, I would say this is one to try. " bBold Dream Mousse Tan in Dark - £9.50 - Buy Now Tester: Josie O'Brien, Senior Fabulous Digital Writer Review: "The first thing that hit me about this tan was the 'juicy watermelon' scent - it's delicious. I was left with a natural bronze hue rather than orange glow. My only qualm is that the tan seemed to stick to my dry patches and accentuated 'strawberry skin' on my legs. I'm still adding this tan to my arsenal though - the smell, colour and texture are dreamy." St Moriz Professional Medium Tanning Mousse - £4.99 - Buy Now Tester: Kate Kulniece, Fabulous Writer Review: "Not only does St. Moriz mousse leave you with a gorgeous bronzed glow, but it also smells fabulous - think Piña Colada on a sunny beach. At first, I was a little bit sceptical cause I'm a gradual fake tan girlie, but this quick developing St. Moriz number may change it all." Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Instant Tan Spray, £12.59 If you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s like me, then you know all about Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs. It's essentially make-up for your body to cover up bruises and give skin a natural tone. I figured if I couldn't perfect the shaving routine, at least I could cover the strawberry skin, right? Well, I couldn't be more wrong. I estimated it might be messy to apply so did so in the bath, and once it was on my legs I was horrified to see it was fluorescent orange and had stained my bath. Even after it had been rubbed in, the shade did not get better and I found it stung like a b**tch despite it being applied hours after shaving. Rating 1/5 7 Bulldog Skincare Sensitive After Shave Balm, £5.49 My last try was a little rogue as it was technically a men's product for facial hair. However, I figured if the Bulldog Sensitive Aftershave Balm worked for the most sensitive skin on our body then it had to be good for the legs too And I'm pleased to report that my intuition was right. I went on with my usual shaving routine with shower gel and an African net and towel dried my legs before applying the aftershave to my legs. Not only did my legs feel super soft, there was no strawberry skin in sight. What made it even better is that it costs £5.49 and you only need a small amount so it while last forever. Rating 5/5 7

Travis Kelce offered solutions for his 'hairy as s***' back after viral photos sparked concern for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce sparked controversy this week after photos of his extremely hairy back went viral - but there are solutions for the Chiefs legend if he wants a smoother look. After enjoying an offseason workout in Miami, where he was also seen out with girlfriend Taylor Swift on Friday night, photographers caught the moment Kelce changed his shirt at the end of the session, and the carpet of hair on both his back and chest unsurprisingly sent the internet into meltdown. Fans were left stunned by his furry look, with one writing: ' Taylor Swift is okay with that?' Another added: 'Travis Kelce is hairy as s***. I like a hairy man but sir.' Yet according to TMZ Sports, companies are lining up to help Kelce tidy up his body hair after the pictures emerged this week. Manscaped - the men's grooming company which offers a plethora of suitable products - has urged the NFL star to make use of one of their mower trimmers. If he wants to test one out, the folks at Manscaped have offered to ship him some goodies whenever he wishes. However, Travis could also go one step further by waxing his chest and back, with Erin Thomas of the Trifecta studios in Kansas City willing to do it for him. Kelce has referenced his hairy body - which has even gained him the nickname 'The Big Yeti' - on several occasions in the past. Just this week on his New Heights podcast, the 35-year-old joked that he was 'wearing two shirts', adding: 'I'm a furry son of a b****.' While some were critical of it, other fans on social media fawned over the controversial look, with one Swiftie calling his hairy back 'perfect just like he is.' Another called him a 'sexy man' and said he shouldn't be embarrassed for his hairy appearance. In February 2024, Jason revealed the origins of the 'Big Yeti' nickname, from Travis' college days playing sports. 'When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit,' Jason said on New Heights. 'And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there's shirts and skins.' Travis then chimed in: 'It's just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me "Big Yeti".' The photos even got as far as other NFL professionals, with legendary quarterback Kirk Cousins weighing in on them.

I decided to let my moustache & pits grow out for summer, I know men think I'm hot but cruel trolls call me ‘Tarzan'

WHILE many of us are concerned about getting rid of body hair during the warmer months, one woman has defied the social norm. Claudia Dulievre decided to grow out her body hair and even her moustache for summer. 2 2 Taking to social media, the young woman revealed she had spent almost two weeks to grow out her moustache and was pretty proud of it. Claudia also noted that her new facial hair made her even more attractive to men. She said: "Day 13 of growing facial hair and only now I realise that the reason why guys are hating on me that much It's because they still find me attractive." In the short clip, Claudia wore a tight black vest and lifted her hair out of her face to show off her body hair, including her armpits. Claudia then got up close and personal with the camera to show off the thick, dark hair coming from her upper lip. "Don't be scared of my femininity," she added. In another clip, Claudia said she had been waxing her moustache for 15 years and had grown tired of it. Now, she wanted to see what she looked like in her 'natural state.' After Going Viral For Being Shirtless With Visible Body Hair, Travis Kelce Addressed Why He Can't Take The Heat

Travis Kelce was caught without a shirt for a hot second, and the internet can't stop talking about it. On May 20, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen leaving a workout with former Chiefs teammate Ross Travis and his friend and chef, Kumar Ferguson, in Florida. Travis was originally caught by sneaky paparazzi cameras wearing an all-black outfit (T-shirt, shorts, and baseball cap). Once the men finished their session, Travis removed his shirt, and his bare chest and back were on display for everybody. Mega / BACKGRID On a May 21 episode of New Heights, Travis addressed his body hair (which seemed to be the main topic of conversation around those shirtless paparazzi photos) and his aversion to heat. In the episode, Travis explained that he hated the heat, joking that he's wearing two shirts (referencing his t-shirt and body hair underneath). The three-time Super Bowl champion said he's not a fan of the hot weather because he's a "furry son of a bitch." Related: 13 Celebs Who Opened Up Publicly About Their Sobriety Wait. Did he say furry? No! Not that type of furry. Travis was referring to his body hair, clarifying that his comments about playing football in Brazil were about the possible hot weather, and not that he dislikes the country. "Me and heat just don't do well together," Travis said. — u/tashera Related: 9 Celebrities Who Have Endorsed Donald Trump In The Past Month This isn't the first time Travis got candid about his hairy body. In a 2022 episode of their podcast, his brother Jason Kelce described how Travis got the nickname "Big Yeti." "When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit," Jason said. "And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there's shirts and skins." "Shirts and skins, dog, that's the only way to separate the teams," Travis added. "I had the big beard, I had the long hair. I had the chest hair, back hair, arm hair, leg hair. It's just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me 'Big Yeti.'" When the photos of Travis shirtless hit the internet, people had a few thirsty responses about the shirtless reveal. They're too good to overlook. One person said, "I genuinely LOVE a man with body hair. It's HOT AF. And the fact he doesn't feel the need to overly groom something natural coz of society's expectations makes him even hotter." Another person said, "IDK what yall say that is a BIG fine ass Yeti!!" "He literally calls himself The Big Yeti," another person said. This person said, "Karma is the breeze in his back hair on the the weekend," and I giggled. Finally, somebody said, "Some of you haven't been with an adult man and it shows." And, of course, there were negative comments as well (because the internet is nasty like that sometimes), but those people were rightfully shut down because Travis is a big ol' hunky teddy bear. Travis Kelce is going viral for a very mundane reason

Travis Kelce is going viral for a comically mundane reason – he has back hair, and the internet can't handle it. The 35-year-old NFL player has been launched into a new stratosphere since he started dating Taylor Swift in 2023. Of course, the new-found fame and scrutiny comes with some big benefits. His podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, New Heights, has soared in popularity, and he has been landing new endorsement deals left and right. But the downside is, well, probably this. Kelce was seen shirtless and changing into gym clothes in Miami. He looked great and very athletic, because well, he is an athlete and he is currently training for the upcoming NFL season. Interestingly, people online weren't thirsting over the shirtless photos of the star, instead they couldn't get over the back hair that was he rocking. There hasn't been such a fuss about hair, not since Julia Roberts rocked up to a red carpet with underarm hair in the 90s. The photos of the NFL player have been shared on X and have been seen over 11 million times, and the back hair in the photos has created quite the hairy debate. It goes without saying that body hair is normal and natural. There's nothing wrong with it, and it is very common, but people on the internet were acting straight-up shocked and perhaps haven't been to a beach recently. 'I genuinely love a man with body hair. It's hot as f**k and the fact he doesn't feel the need to overly groom something natural coz of society's expectations makes him even hotter,' one praised. 'Like no shade but it looks like Taylor tried to wax his back and failed half way,' one joked. 'Some of you haven't been with an adult man and it shows,' another criticised. 'Can we body shame?' one troll asked. Someone else said the photos should have come with a 'trigger warning' and another called his back hair a 'jump scare'. One person went as far to say it was 'gross' and there were of course, people pointing out that it isn't okay to comment or body shame men. 'Have you never seen body hair before?' one inquired. 'Ya'll act like men are hairless? Men have hairy backs. Hairy necks. Hairy chests. Get over it,' someone else demanded. 'Taylor's got a man with back hair! Hair is in,' one fan claimed. Someone else said that anyone acting shocked and 'complaining' about Kelce's body hair 'clearly' has never been with a man before. Another jumped in and claimed that Swift is probably enjoying being with a man with impressive 'testosterone' levels – a remark that is of course not backed up by actual science but there you go. The point is that Kelce's back hair really whipped the internet into a frenzy. It got to the point that Swift fans were jumping onto X, defending the NFL player from body shaming and demanding he be left alone because he makes the pop star happy. Can't argue with that.
