Cutler set to defend title against Eggington in Birmingham at Easter
LEE Cutler is set to defend his WBC International Silver Super Welterweight title against Sam Eggington in April.
Cutler beat Stephen McKenna to take the title back in December, beating the previously unbeaten Irishman on a deserved majority decision in Liverpool.
Now, the Verwood-raised boxer will face Eggington on the undercard of Boxxer's Ben Whittaker vs Liam Cameron fight, in Birmingham on Easter Sunday, April 20.
Cutler holds a 15-1 record to his opponent's 35-9.

The Poole boxer will be up against Eggington in front of a home crowd, with his opponent previously holding the IBO Super-welterweight title, as well as the British, Commonwealth and European welterweight titles.
In his last five fights, Eggington has been beaten twice – by Dennis Hogan and Abass Baraou, but he beat Alan Sebastian Velazquez on points last time out in November.
The Birmingham fighter featured on the card as Chris Billam-Smith beat Lawrence Okolie to take the WBO World Cruiserweight title back in May 2023 at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth.
Cutler also featured on that card, beating Stanley Stannard on points, as Eggington beat Joe Pigford by TKO.
