Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz ‘hire Harry and Meghan's lawyer' amid family feud after growing close to the Sussexes
BROOKLYN Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly hired Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lawyer to help protect their reputations as their family feud escalates. Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have grown close to Harry and Meghan - who have also fallen out with David and Victoria Beckham. 5 5 They've now instructed the Prince's top legal eagle Jenny Afia to help with "reputation management". The British solicitor works for Schillings law firm and was recently seen speaking on The Princes And The Press documentary. A source told the Mail on Sunday: "All of a sudden they have enlisted the help of the Sussexes' long-serving lawyer. "Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up of stories running they don't like. Nicola likes to control everything and they have taken this rather drastic action. "For the Beckhams the irony isn't lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories – they were furious and Brooklyn knows that. "The two couples are very close indeed." Brooklyn and wife Nicola first sparked rumours of a huge rift between them and his parents when they snubbed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year. Billionaire heiress, Nicola has since faced accusations of 'controlling' Brooklyn and is believed to be at the centre of the escalating feud between the Peltz and Beckham families. Budding photographer Brooklyn previously fell out with his parents shortly after his marriage to Nicola. Yet with a fresh clash in full swing, experts have told The Sun how the eldest of the Beckham clan has chosen his wife over his mega-famous family. Amid the allegations over her conduct, a source previously said of the Lola star: "She is creating conflict where there is none and divides are springing up left, right and centre." Yet her mates have now taken a stand. One told MirrorOnline: "She is not isolating him [Brooklyn] at all. "He is free to do what he wants and he loves his wife and they are happy together. "They are each other's family.' 5 5

Kelly Osbourne leaves fans shocked with 'completely different' appearance in new Instagram snap: 'Who is this?'
Kelly Osbourne 's fans have voiced their dismay after she shared a new snap of herself looking dramatically different, reigniting speculation that she's had plastic surgery. The TV personality, 40, took to Instagram to post a couple of glamorous shots after getting her hair and makeup done, with her face looking smoother and more chiselled than ever. Captioning the photos, Kelly revealed she'd been all glammed up for her plans to be cancelled last minute, lamenting: 'Sat through glam only to find that my day had been cancelled. #alldressedupandnowheretogo'. However, her followers were distracted by her visibly much slimmer and tauter appearance, pointing to her sharper jawline, voluptuous lips and lifted brows. They raced to the comments to admit they could barely recognise the star and accused her of getting heavy cosmetic work done that had made her look as though she'd had a 'full head transplant'. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Captioning the photos, Kelly revealed she'd been all glammed up for her plans to be cancelled last minute, lamenting: 'Sat through glam only to find that my day had been cancelled. #alldressedupandnowheretogo' They commented: 'Is Kelly Osborne in the room with us?'; 'WHO IS THAT?? Wft....'; 'Gifted a new head for Christmas….'; 'totally different head'. 'Who's face is that?'; 'Full head transplant'; 'Lots of money and a good plastic surgeon and we can all be this beautiful'. 'Wow amazing what tons of plastic surgery, ozempic and money can do'; 'Is this the same Kelly Osbourne or..'; 'New face, who dis?' 'Where is Kelly?'; 'can't imagine how many surgeries, fillers, botox injections, skin treatments, etc. were involved in this transformation. When you no longer look anything like yourself, what exactly did you accomplish?' 'Teenage Kelly would not be happy about this'; 'What in the millions dollars worth of plastic surgery is this'; 'Is she AI?!' Kelly, who is the daughter of rock legend Ozzy and TV star Sharon, has undergone many changes in her appearance over the years. In 2020, the television personality revealed that she had quietly undergone gastric sleeve surgery two years before, leading to a jaw-dropping 85lb weight loss. She also previously admitted to having injections to change the shape of her face, and make her jaw look 'skinnier,' after suffering with TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction). They raced to the comments to admit they could barely recognise the star and accused her of getting heavy cosmetic work done that had made her look as though she'd had a 'full head transplant' However, Kelly has repeatedly and furiously denied that she has had any cosmetic procedures besides Botox. Last year, she declared that she was a 'huge fan' of plastic surgery, but insisted that she was too scared to get anything done after seeing her mother go under the knife so many times. She told People: 'I am a huge fan of plastic surgery. What it does for people is amazing. It can change people's lives and give them the confidence they've been lacking, and make people feel beautiful in the way they want to feel beautiful. 'But I've never done anything but Botox. I'm too scared. I've always been in the camp of, if you think it's broken, fix it. You don't have to be stuck with a nose you hate for the rest of your life. So yes, I'm a huge fan.' She explained the root of her fear, saying: 'I watched my mum go through every recovery from everything she's ever had done, and it looks awful'. Sharon, 72, has undergone a range of procedures including a gastric band, full facelift, tummy tuck, an eyelift, breast implants, abdominoplasty and Botox. While she has branded her 2021 facelift the 'worst thing she ever did' after the procedure left her 'looking like a cyclops' and 'Quasimodo'. In 2023, Kelly again insisted that she's never had any plastic surgery and that her changing face was simply down to her weight loss. In 2020, the television personality revealed that she had quietly undergone gastric sleeve surgery two years before, leading to a jaw-dropping 85lb weight loss (pictured left in 2003 and right in 2021) Speaking to she stressed: 'I've never had any procedure like plastic surgery. There are things that I definitely want to do when I get older, but I'm too scared aren't I?' She went on: 'I've done Botox, that's it. It's weird, because now that I've lost weight, everybody is criticizing and trying to figure out what it is that I've done, and I really just lost weight. It's just the shape of my face!' 'And everyone knows that I had weight loss surgery, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. But there's this whole thing about it, "Well you didn't do it the right way". There is no right way.' 'The road to happiness is different for everybody, and I think that instead of picking apart the journey, they should just be happy that you reached your destination'. However, only a few months later in December 2023, Kelly revealed to her brother Jack and mum Sharon on The Osbournes Podcast that she wanted to get plastic surgery for Christmas. The socialite has had lifelong battle with weight and outlined her struggles and substance abuse issues in her 2017 memoir, where she described herself as having had 'a little dumpling body.' She lost a jaw-dropping 85lb in 2018 after seeking surgical intervention, later declaring: 'I had surgery. I don't give a f*** what anyone has to say. I did it, I'm proud of it, they can suck s****. I did the gastric sleeve.' She added: 'All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost 2 years ago. I will never, ever, ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.' Speaking on Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, Kelly also discussed having injections to change the shape of her face, and make her jaw look 'skinnier,' after suffering with TMJ. 'One thing I did that changed my face,' she added. 'I had really bad TMJ. One of the things they did to stop it was they gave me injections in my jaw. It kinda made my jaw look skinnier. 'That's when people started to notice that I had really lost weight because it changed the shape of everything. I found out It's called buccal fat. It changed everything on my face! How the f*** did I not know about this sooner?' After the birth of her son Sidney, two, with Slipknot DJ Sid Mason, Kelly shed the pounds again, but attributed the weight loss to diet changes. She credited her postpartum weight loss to cutting out 'sugar and carbohydrates' and was quick to deny using Ozempic, after her mother Sharon used the diabetes medication and lost a whopping 42 pounds. She told Extra in April 2024: 'I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don't know where that came from. My mum took Ozempic.' But she was hit by a wave of backlash after heaping praise on the controversial drug as preferable to exercise and claiming that critcs of the medication being used as a weight loss jab were simply jealous because they 'can't afford it'. Kelly gushed to E! News: 'I think it's amazing. There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something [that] isn't as boring as working out? 'People hate on it because they want to do it. And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can't afford it.' The remarks sparked criticism at the time, with many voicing their 'disgust' by her criticizing those who were unable to afford it. They wrote: 'She just openly spoke about it in an interview and said people are just jealous because they can't afford it. I was disgusted by her response.' 'Imagine calling people poor when you're just a nepo baby who was born with money and never had to work for it.' 'Kelly that was pretty insensitive. Since people are jealous they can't afford it would you be willing to buy 10 people diabetes meds ?! Especially since they're jealous & all'. However, her mum Sharon previously admitted that she 'needed to put weight back on' after losing a shocking 42lbs on Ozempic. Speaking about her experience with the drug, she said last year: 'I started on Ozempic last December and I've been off it for a while now, but my warning is don't give it to teenagers, it's just too easy... 'You can lose so much weight and it's easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous. I couldn't stop losing weight and now I've lost 42 lbs. and I can't afford to lose any more.' Back in March last year, Sharon shocked the public after she made her return to UK reality TV on Celebrity Big Brother. The star couldn't hide her weight loss on the show as she revealed doctors 'can't figure out' why she hasn't been able to gain weight back after she stopped using Ozempic months ago. 'The doctors can't figure it out,' she said. 'But I think it's just because I'm getting older and as you get older you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.' Of why she decided to start receiving Ozempic injections, Sharon said 'everyone was doing it'.

New Media Delivers ‘Diddy-lations' and Dispatches From Sean Combs Trial
Steps away from the carefully coiffed and formally dressed television news reporters covering the Sean 'Diddy' Combs sex-trafficking trial, another gaggle of correspondents assembles, filming posts for such platforms as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Among those gossiping, opining and joking amid the array of smartphones propped up on tripods outside the federal courthouse are a woman wearing a red wig and Louis Vuitton fanny pack, and a man in a fedora, Yeezy boots and ripped jeans. Nearby, a man sporting a Kermit the Frog cap is livestreaming. They have Substacks, podcasts and YouTube channels built for buzzy cultural moments and know that to many of their followers, takes can be more interesting than facts. This new kind of broadcaster—the social-media influencer—aims to entertain as much as inform, often winning the attention of millions of Americans interested in the day's events but uninterested in getting their news from legacy media. 'Diddy has a different confidence today,' Samson Crouppen, who has more than 480,000 followers on TikTok, said in a recent video, which has notched more than 370,000 views. Another of his posts has reached 2.8 million. Crouppen had never covered a court case before Combs's. A comedian and social-media consultant from Los Angeles, he describes himself on social media as the '#1 Comedy Journalist.' He refers to his reports from the Combs trial as 'Daily Diddy-lations.' In the sex-trafficking trial, the hip-hop mogul faces accusations that he ran a criminal enterprise coercing women into drug-fueled sex parties. Combs has denied any wrongdoing. A representative for Combs said the events were threesomes, not sex parties. His lawyers have said that the sex was consensual and that Combs didn't commit sex trafficking. So far, the trial has included testimony from such high-profile figures as Combs's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and the musician Kid Cudi. In his videos, Crouppen has called Combs the 'Diddler' and said he stands for 'independent journalism not bought by the legacy media.' Crouppen said he would acknowledge and apologize when he makes an error. 'When you screw stuff up people correct you, and it creates engagement,' he said. Influencers outside the courthouse in Manhattan have raised thousands of dollars from fans looking to support their work. Their dispatches from the Combs trial are often heavy on personal impressions and suspicions, and short on such traditional journalism staples as fact-checking and comments from all sides. Emilie Hagen, who has been covering the trial on Substack and Instagram, said mainstream reporters are careful what they say. And she said she is focusing on the facts. 'But the majority of people don't want that. They want new media to be more salacious,' she said. Hagen, based in Los Angeles, has a journalism degree and makes much of her living as a content creator. She has been covering the trial in New York, using $3,000 in funding from her more than 134,000 Instagram followers and Substack subscribers. In an Instagram video, she interviewed a woman who said she was offered $20 an hour to stand outside the courthouse wearing a shirt supporting Combs. She didn't get comment from Combs's team for the video but included in a subsequent Substack post that a 'direct source from Diddy's camp' said neither the star nor his legal team was behind the paid demonstration. The Instagram video has more than 3.6 million views. Some 52% of TikTok users who were surveyed in 2024 said that they regularly get news on the platform, according to the Pew Research Center. The change in news-consumption habits stretches beyond pop culture, a longtime staple of social-media postings. Influencers are also now popular sources of information on politics. During the 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris sought to appeal to voters by appearing on influencer-led podcasts. The Trump administration has let influencers into the White House briefing room. 'They're frustrated with ABC, NBC, CNN, Fox,' said Jess Rauchberg, an assistant professor of communication technologies at Seton Hall University. 'They want something that feels more real.' Loren LoRosa, a senior news producer on the radio show 'The Breakfast Club' who has been covering the trial on social media and on her podcast, 'The Latest With Loren LoRosa,' recently stood outside the courthouse blending recaps of the day's testimony with personal takes on the lawyers' approaches. In a video, she contrasted how Combs's lawyers attacked the credibility of one witness while taking a different approach with another witness, Kerry Morgan, a former friend of Ventura. The defense 'thought that this was going to prove a lot of the points they wanted to prove. They let her rock,' LoRosa said. LoRosa was wearing a hoodie and gold bracelets in the video. She said in an interview that her more than 225,000 Instagram followers like to see what outfits she is wearing and are interested in her personally, 'not just the facts.' Broken Beckhams: inside the bitter feud that is tearing the family apart
They've always been so proud of their tight-knit family and for years the bond was plain to see. Holiday snaps, fashion show front rows, concerts, sports matches, cosy hangouts at home, dinners with famous friends – David and Victoria revelled in it all with their four kids. But now the unthinkable has happened – a schism at the heart of the Beckham clan is tearing them apart. Posh and Becks are said to be all but ostracised from their eldest child, Brooklyn (26), and his American wife, Nicola Peltz (30). For months the couple, who wed in a lavish ceremony at the home of Nicola's uber-wealthy parents in Florida in 2022, have shunned every family occasion. In April Brooklyn even ignored his mother's 51st birthday, failing to post anything on social media as he's done in the past. While the Beckhams celebrated on a superyacht in Miami, Brooklyn and Nicola lived it up at the Coachella music festival in the Colorado desert. But the tipping point came when the pair snubbed David's 50th birthday celebrations in the UK in early May – despite being in London at the time. They were invited to all the festivities, which included a party at the Beckhams' Cotswolds home and a trip to Paris. They also shunned the grand finale – a black-tie dinner at top London restaurant Core in Notting Hill with a selection of guests that included Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsey. Instead they posted photos of themselves lying on a couch canoodling while in London. View this post on Instagram A post shared by 𝓃𝒾𝒸𝑜𝓁𝒶 (@nicolaannepeltzbeckham) Instead Brooklyn and Nicola, who kept everyone guessing about whether they'd attend the dinner until the last moment, were on a plane heading back to their home in Los Angeles. It's a very sad situation. The rift is nearing the point of no return An insider 'Brooklyn and Nicola never go to Beckham family events anymore or visit David and Victoria.' And Brooklyn, who used to FaceTime his parents every day, now won't take his mom and dad's calls. At the heart of the trouble appears to be Nicola, who's been accused of 'controlling' her husband and having a major influence in the cold-shouldering of his family. The birthday snub was like a dagger to David's heart, a friend says. 'It was appalling and his family just can't deal with the nonsense anymore. 'It just seems like at every event – from weddings to birthdays to holidays – there's a drama. They're over it.' Brooklyn and Nicola haven't been pictured with Posh or Becks or Brooklyn's siblings, Romeo (22), Cruz (20) and Harper (13), since Christmas. 'But I guess no one could believe they'd actually ignore David's 50th,' the friend says. In a telling sign, Posh failed to tag her eldest son in party pics she posted afterwards. 'The rift has become a real problem and it's not something they can keep private because of the way the family uses social media,' another source says. 'Things have escalated in recent months.' Initial reports put the feud down to Romeo's new girlfriend, Kim Turnbull (24), a rumoured ex-girlfriend of Brooklyn's. Nicola and Brooklyn were said to be worried about Kim's 'true intentions' and announced they wouldn't be attending any Beckham family event if she was there. Kim, a London DJ, dated Madonna's son Rocco Ritchie for two years before splitting up in 2017, after which she was romantically linked to Brooklyn. But as the speculation flew, Cruz went on social media to declare 'Brooklyn never dated Kim' – a statement backed up by another Beckham family friend. 'Brooklyn was close to Kim but it was only because she was dating Rocco and they all hung out in a tight-knit friendship group. They were close but there was never any romance. Kim is just a smokescreen for the real issue. 'This is nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola.' The blonde actress, whose parents are billionaire businessman and entrepreneur Nelson Peltz and glamorous former model Claudia, has been accused of using the Beckhams to propel her profile – much as she did in 2017 when she dated Anwar Hadid, brother of supermodels Bella and Gigi and son of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda. Insiders say the relationship between Nicola and Posh never really recovered after the fallout over Nicola's wedding dress three years ago – even if the pair did appear to have kissed and made up in social media posts. In the run-up to the nuptials Nicola and Posh reportedly fell out over the bride's decision to wear a Valentino gown and not a one designed by Victoria's label, VB. Posh apparently also felt put out that she wasn't involved in any aspect of the wedding planning. 'Nicola's attitude towards the Beckhams was already evident at the wedding,' a source says. 'She was rude to Victoria and she shunned other members of the Beckham family. It was terribly upsetting for David and Victoria. Things were difficult at the time but they're devastating now. 'After the wedding the Beckhams realised it wasn't going to be easy being part of Nicola's super-rich family. The Beckham gang adore Brooklyn and wanted to be part of it his son's new life. There's been a lot of concern for him ever since the wedding.' Nicola, say insiders, has a habit of starting an argument with Brooklyn before any of his family events which prevents him from going. 'It seems Nicola doesn't like Brooklyn spending any time with the Beckhams full stop. She's focused on her own family, who Brooklyn is said to be close to.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by 𝓃𝒾𝒸𝑜𝓁𝒶 (@nicolaannepeltzbeckham) On the weekend of Becks' party, Nicola shared a post about her two late grandmothers, Bunny and Gina, calling them her 'best friends' and that she misses them 'so much'. She was especially close to Bunny, who was her maid of honour, and was devastated when she died last year. Others say Nicola isn't the baddie and that she's the first girlfriend to stand up to Brooklyn's 'narcissistic' parents. One source told celebrity news site TMZ that David 'berates' Brooklyn over the phone, causing Posh to send Nicola a loving text so there's no proof Becks 'didn't just scream at Brooklyn for an hour'. Nicola always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn Insider Nicola has said growing up with six brothers made her confident. 'I never feel like I need approval from a guy – my brothers nailed that into me,' she told Tatler in 2022. She's also made it clear she has no interest in moving to the UK 'just because I love knowing I am so close to my family'. Reports that David is hard on his firstborn simply aren't true, family friends say. He and Posh live for their kids and Becks has always been a hands-on dad. 'He and Victoria are having sleepless nights about the situation. Their children are everything to them but Brooklyn isn't talking to them.' The oldest Beckham boy was also conspicuous by his absence at a boys' fishing trip David treated his sons to in Scotland a few days after his birthday celebrations. In what seemed to be a sentimental moment, Becks tagged his missing son in a selection of photos he posted of himself with Romeo and Cruz on a boat. 'Fun times in Scotland,' he said. 'Wish you were here @Brooklynpelzbeckham.' He reportedly invited Brooklyn on the trip months ago when he started planning it, but his son declined. 'Once again David made the best of things and had a great time with Cruz and Romeo,' a source says. A friend of Becks says the fallout will destroy him if it carries on. 'What he wants most is for his family to be around him, happily getting along. And he adores his boys.' Romeo too is said to be furious about the drama and apparently isn't on speaking terms with his big brother. It's really upset Romeo too because Kim is seemingly being used as a reason to deepen the rift A source 'He's also furious at the suggestion that he would bring an ex-girlfriend girlfriend of Brooklyn into the family when there never was any romance.' Brooklyn broke his social media silence after David's 50th with a post – not about his father but his new range of hot sauces called Cloud23, which he credited his wife for inspiring. 'I was having a bottle of wine with my wife and she said, 'You like hot sauce, you like design. Why don't you make a hot sauce',' the aspiring chef said. Brooklyn is passionate about his Cloud23 hot sauce range of sources, which he started in October last Instagram/brooklynpelzbeckham 'I didn't really think much about it and then I ordered a bunch of stuff and I watched a quick video on how to make one. I then made the jalapeno one and really liked it and I thought, 'I really want to do something with this'.' His comments came after Nicola was lambasted by angry fans after her and Brooklyn's no-show at David's milestone event. An Instagram post in which she promotes suncream was hijacked with users telling her she should be ashamed of herself for missing his big day. However, a source says Brooklyn and Nicola made overtures to Posh and Becks and wanted to see them privately to try to repair the relationship when they were in London before the party. But the Beckhams turned it down. 'The appear to have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.' Yet a source in Posh and Becks' camp says the pair 'just want to treat everyone the same'. 'They just tell the whole family, 'Here's the time, here's the date'. It's not that complicated. Everyone else is okay with that but Brooklyn isn't playing like that.' A longstanding Beckham family friend says it's difficult to see how the feud will ever end. 'Nicola has love-bombed Brooklyn since the day they met and has tried to convince him she's all he needs,' the pal told the Daily Mail. 'She's cut him off from his family. If David and Victoria could, they'd go and pick him up now and bring him home. But he's a grown man and can make his own decisions. Of course there's anger that he wasn't at David's birthday dos but at this point they just hope he's okay.'
