Justin Timberlake Went From Boy-Band to Boy Dad! Meet the Singer's Sons With Wife Jessica Biel
Justin Timberlake said bye, bye, bye to his boy-band days and hello to parenthood! The former 'NSync frontman and wife Jessica Biel expanded their family after getting married in 2012 and have since navigated raising two kids. Most celebrity parents are adamant about keeping the privacy of their children intact, Justin and Jessica just aim to be normal parents. 'I try to be conscious of making sure we can live a life where we're not weirdly private,' the 'Rock Your Body' artist said during a 2021 appearance on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast. "But we're conscious of making sure they can be kids for as long as possible and not have the weight of somebody else treating them differently because of something that their parents do." The Hollywood stars welcomed their first child, son Silas, in April 2015. They enjoyed their first months with their baby in private before sharing about their 'amazing experience' publicly. "It's an amazing, amazing experience. Incredibly hard — the hardest job in the world, and I've never been more thankful and grateful to my own mother," the 7th Heaven actress said on the Today show that October. Silas' little brother, Phineas, joined the family sometime in summer 2020 and made sure his famous parents had no time to sleep. 'He's awesome and so cute. Nobody's sleeping. But we're thrilled. We're thrilled and couldn't be happier. Very grateful," Justin said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2021. Five months later, Jessica agreed that it seemed like they kept the birth of their youngest son a secret, but that wasn't the case. 'I had, like, a secret COVID baby. It wasn't like it was supposed to be a secret. It was, just COVID happened, and then I went to Montana with my family and never left," the Candy star explained on the "Armchair Expert" podcast. More recently, Justin celebrated Father's Day in 2021 while honoring those who showed him how to be a good father. 'Being a dad is better than I ever could have imagined,' he wrote via Instagram. 'Thankful to my dads and my grandfathers for leading the way, making the sacrifices for me to live out my dreams, and for teaching me that REAL LIFE happens in all the little moments. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!!!' Jessica revealed in a May 2025 interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Phineas has started getting sassy with her. 'Let me tell you, the new phrase for my 4-year-old is, 'Mom, you have the worst ideas,'' she said. 'I'm like, he's 4 years old. I'm like, are we, we're already there?' She said Silas feels the same way when she cheers him on at his baseball games, even if she just says, 'Good job.' 'I am so lame to them,' she joked. Phineas is a little too young to understand his parents' stardom, let alone know what words mean. However, his older brother is well aware that his Grammy-winning father sings popular songs, and his mother is a TV star. Does he care? Nope. "Whenever he hears daddy's song he'll go 'Oh yeah, that's Dad. No big deal, whatever,'' Jessica revealed during a 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Not only that, but Silas refuses to watch his mother's kid friendly shows, like Pete the Cat. "I tried to get him to watch the show, he will not watch. And yet he says, 'Hey mom, hey mom, do one of those voices from the show' and I'm like 'But you've never seen the show you don't even know,'' she continued. 'He's just like 'just do it mom,' so I'll do one of the voices and he'll be like, 'cool mom, cool.'' Though Jessica and Justin typically keep their boys out of the spotlight, Silas made a rare appearance at the U.S. Open with his mom in August 2024. Jessica told InStyle all about how she prepped her son for the event in a May 2025 interview. 'My son was 9 at the time, and he's a huge tennis fan — that's his sport, that's what he plays. We had this opportunity, and we talked about it. We talked about photographers. You know, 'Are you comfortable with that?'' she said. Jessica continued, 'He can't make these decisions on his own, but at this point, we can at least discuss what's his opinion around it. You really want to give your kids every experience. I don't know if it was the right decision, to be honest with you, but he and I had a good time. … It's scary every time. But it's also their life. And so it's this really tricky, tricky thing to figure out, what's appropriate.'

Jessica Biel admits it is 'tricky' and 'scary' raising sons with husband Justin Timberlake
Being born to celebrity parents is no easy feat - and Jessica Biel admits she struggles with how her and husband Justin Timberlake 's fame affects their family. The 43-year-old recently shared her parenting quandaries, admitting she and Timberlake are still working out how to keep their sons' - Silas, 10, and Phineas, four - lives private. 'It's a tricky one, a tricky balance. We do really try hard not to expose them in a way that they're not comfortable with,' Biel said in a new interview with InStyle. The 7th Heaven actress went on to explain keeping their family life private is a double-edged sword, as it means when they do have outings, the media jumps on the rare appearances. She referenced taking her son Silas, then nine, to the US Open in New York in 2024, which sparked a huge discussion with her son about the public attention that would come from it. '[Silas and I] had this opportunity, and we talked about it. We talked about photographers. You know, "Are you comfortable with that?"' she recalled. 'He can't make these decisions on his own, but at this point, we can at least discuss what's his opinion around it,' she added. The mom said they eventually decided to go, not wanting him to miss out because of what could come from their outing. 'You really want to give your kids every experience. I don't know if it was the right decision, to be honest with you, but he and I had a good time,' she shared. However, Biel admitted it is 'scary' every time they are faced with the prospect of going out as a family and being hounded by the media. 'But it's also their life. And so it's this really tricky, tricky thing to figure out, what's appropriate,' she said. Biel and Timberlake, who tied the knot in 2012, are known for keeping their kids' lives private, with the protective mom saying they want them to stay off social media, and if they pursue a creative career, for it to only be when they're adults. 'If [Silas] was a kid actor, he'd probably work all the time,' she said, adding when they are 18 and still want to pursue the industry they can 'have at it.' The New Year's Eve actress admitted she finds it difficult at times being a working mom, and she doesn't 'do it very well all the time.' She referenced experiencing a career surge after having her eldest son in the mid-2010s, revealing her producing partner Michelle Purple gave her some advice she still lives by. 'She goes, "Listen, all you can do is: When you're working, you're 100-percent working, and when you're home, you're 100-percent home. Do not take a work call when you're at home with the kids. If you do it half-a**, you're not good at anything,"' she recalled. The 7th Heaven actress went on to explain keeping their family live private is a double-edged sword, as it means when they do have outings, the media jumps on the rare appearances 'That was a good piece of advice,' the doting mom added. Last year, Biel explained why she doesn't post pictures of her kids on social media in a podcast episode of Lets Talk Off Camera. 'We get hammered [by the paparazzi] in the West Coast. That's why we don't live there anymore to try and create some normalcy,' she explained to host Kelly Ripa. 'No disrespect to anyone who feels comfortable doing that,' she added. 'That's just our family choice. Maybe it's a mistake. I don't know.' While Biel speaks of her struggles with her private life, there were rumors of marital struggles last year following Timberlake suffering several blows to his music career. In 2019, the Sexyback singer found himself at the center of cheating allegations after a photo surfaced of him looking cozy with a co-star, though he denied all claims as 'gossip.' The Social Network actor also singer faced scrutiny after facing a DWI arrest for running a stop sign last year. His mugshot, featuring his 'bloodshot and glassy' eyes, quickly caused a storm on the internet. He also upset fans after he cancelled his last American tour date just half an hour before it was due to start - leaving concertgoers already at the venue distraught.

All the Celebrities Who Are Parents of Twins
When Beyoncé and Jay Z announced back in January 2017 they were expecting twins, the Beyhive was abuzz and the Twitterverse was in straight pandemonium. It wasn't long until they welcomed Rumi and Sir into the world; and since then, everyone's twin radar has been pinging non-stop. We were curious: How many other celebs are the parents of twins? We set to searching — and we found so many more than we expected. Super high-profile couples like George and Amal Clooney, whose twins Ella and Alex keep them on their toes with their linguistic skills — and former couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony welcomed twins Max and Emme in February 2008. Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider are new to the twin family, welcoming their boy and girl twins in April 2023! Also in the parents-of-twins club: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, and so. many. more. And while these celebs, of course, all love their kids to pieces, they've gotten candid about the challenges of being pregnant with twins and raising twins over the years too. 'Carrying twins was really uncomfortable because you lay on one side and you feel there's a baby, and you lay on the other side and you feel there's a baby,' Jennifer Lopez told Parade in 2010. And Modern Family star Julie Bowen vented about the sibling rivalry that can arise in twins: 'They're also siblings who want to be together, but they compete,' she told The Huffington Post in 2014. 'They're going to become their own people because I'm going to talk to them and I'm going to interact with them, not because I necessarily drove one of them to pottery and one of them to karate.' Folks, we've just grazed the surface. Here are 80 celeb couples with a beautiful, precious set of twins. A version of this article was originally published in June 2017. Gabourey Sidibe and husband Brandon Frankel have officially entered the Parents of Twins Club! The Oscar nominee welcomed twins — a son, Cooper, and a daughter, Maya — in April 2024, though they didn't announce the news until two months later. In the announcement, Sidibe said her babies are 'extremely strong and hilarious' but 'have yet to really interact with each other.' 'It was a surprise to see how little they've acknowledged each other outside the womb when they seemed to interact so much inside,' she said. And yet, it does sound like they can sense each other's presence. 'Cooper will sometimes speak for Maya and alert us that she's about to spit up.' 'But it's quality. I've never been one to be home, I've never been a hands-on dad. I'm not ashamed to admit it, but you can't run a restaurant and be home for tea at 4:30 and bath and change nappies.' The former couple also share Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Shiloh Nouvel, and Pax Thien who were all born in the early aughts. Olivia and Malcolm, Denzel Washington and Pauletta Pearson's twins, were born in 1991. The twins have a brother Dezi who is 10 years older than them. This Golden Globe-winning mom and Emmy-winning dad welcomed Slater Josiah and Bronwyn Golden in 2006. In 2018, Angela Bassett spoke to People about how they have experienced racism in school. 'Even from the age of four, from preschool, they've had to deal with — and as crazy as it seems or sounds — color issues,' she says. 'Or because they were African Americans, and whether other kids will play with them or have issue with that. It makes you gasp and it just squeezes your heart sometimes, because you never want your kids to go through these sort of pain issues.' Doctor Strange's Tilda Swinton and former partner John Byrne's twins, Honor and Xavier, were born in 1997. This Jamie Foxx Show star and ex-husband Mike Nilon welcomed Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas in 2007. The couple split in 2012, but have since co-parented their kids. 'I'm not gonna lie. It breaks my heart when I hear them say to their friends, 'I'm at Mommy's house this week.' Even when they're not with me, they are constantly on my mind,' she wrote in a blog for People in 2014. 'Luckily, co-parenting with Mike has been a blessing because we let each other see the boys even when it's not his or my week. That's because we put them first,' she continues. 'It's better for them to see us both at their sporting events and school activities.' Beauvais also has a son Oliver (b. 1991) who she shares with ex-husband Daniel Saunders. These True Blood co-stars-turned-married couple have fraternal twins, Poppy and Charlie, born in 2012. Since then, you've likely not seen many, if any, photos of their kids — and that's exactly how Anna Paquin prefers it. 'You won't find any pictures of my children. That's a choice we made very specifically. I want the right to say that they're not fair game,' she told Today in February 2018. 'Don't mess with my cubs.' After struggling with infertility, Céline Dion and her late husband René Angélil welcomed twins Eddy and Nelson in 2010. They also shared son René-Charles who was born in 2001. After the death of Angélil in 2016, Dion opened up to The Sun about how her twins helped her through the grieving process, saying, 'I organize myself to not feel lonely. So I got myself a huge, huge, huge bed and I sleep with my twins. They are comforting me a lot. I need them. I need them close.' The man behind the big screen's Thor welcomed twins Tristan and Sasha with wife Elsa Pataky in 2014, increasing their litter from one to three. The twins joined sibling India Rose, who was born two years earlier. One of the couple's goals for their kids? To keep them grounded. 'As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved up all year to just pay for a two-week camping vacation,' Hemsworth told People in 2017. 'Financially, we're in a different position, but I want to make sure they know these things don't come easy. You have to work for it, and you can't take it for granted.' Anton James and Olivia Rose have power parents: Al Pacino and National Lampoon's Beverly D'Angelo. D'Angelo was 49 years old when she gave birth to the twins in 2001, and two years later, they split. A bitter custody battle over their fraternal twins ensued, and 15 years later, D'Angelo has forgiven Pacino for launching the battle, telling Closer magazine in July 2017, 'The key thing is creating a new history, and moving on from whatever dissolved that relationship to the new one of co-parenting. The most important thing I've learned is how vital acceptance is.' Pacino had a third child in 1989, Julie Pacino, with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant. The Blacklist actress and hubby Thomas Schlamme's twins, Joseph Tabor and Emma Kate, were born in '93, five years after their brother Wilson. And after twenty-five years of parenting, it looks like the tables have turned: In an interview with The Mary Sue in 2016, Christine Lahti reveals the lesson she learned from her own daughter, Emma Kate. 'I teach a lot of master classes and tell my students, especially young women, if you want to act you need to also write and direct and produce,' she starts. 'You need to create your own stuff, because you can't be dependent on others hiring you. And I learned that from my daughter, who is 22 and such a feminist and empowered. She wants to be a singer-songwriter, so she's going to do it all herself. She's producing the whole thing. And I'm inspired by her and the other young women who are just doing it. And the internet is such a help. It allows them to self-promote and be creative.' In 2010, American Idol rocker Chris Daughtry and wife Deanna welcomed Adalynn Rose and Noah James. 'Being a father has made me grow up,' Chris told People in 2013. 'Life is about more than just me. I've got a great wife, great kids, and a great life now.' Chuck Norris and second wife Gena O'Kelley's twins were born in 2001 and are named Dakota Alan and Danilee Kelly are following in Norris' footsteps: In 2016, they passed their second-degree black belt test! Norris has three other kids from previous relationships. Quaid and ex-wife Kimberly Buffington's twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace were born via surrogate in 2007. The twins made headlines when just two weeks after they were born, they were accidentally given an overdose of the blood thinner Heparin. 'It turned their blood to the consistency of water,' Quaid said on the Allegedly podcast in 2015. 'The danger would be rupturing an artery. And they were so small they couldn't thrash around. I think that's what saved them.' Quaid also shares son Jack (b. 1992) with ex Meg Ryan. This Devious Maids star and her director husband, Bev Land, welcomed Gaia Jissel and John Aether in 2014. 'I also went to work two and a half weeks after I had the babies,' Dania Ramirez said at the Devious Maids Season 4 premiere party in 2016. 'And it's twins. So you can imagine, I still can't wrap my head around it. I still ask myself this question every single day.' 'I think it was a really good learning experience for me as an actress and, also, as a mother,' she continues. 'I didn't really have time to double-guess anything.' Twin Peaks star David Koechner and his wife, Leigh, are parents to twins Audrey Violet and William Sargent who were born in 2006. They also share Charlie and Margot. The couple spoke with SheKnows back in 2012, revealing just because we think he's funny, his kids sure don't: 'I'm not sure it impresses the kids! They don't always think it's funny. Like my son, I remember being in a special carpool and we were going on a field trip. The night before [the field trip] my son said to me, 'Dad, tomorrow no jokes OK?' Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka welcomed Gideon Scott and Harper Grace via surrogate in 2010. Harris gushed about his then-7-year-olds to US Weekly in March 2018, saying: 'Gideon's into baseball at the moment so he's been practicing his baseball drills and Harper is very into gymnastics still. She loves doing handstands. As do I. We're cut from the same cloth.' Prison Break's Purcell and ex-wife Rebecca Williamson welcomed Lily-Rose and Augustus in 2003, joining siblings Joseph, born 1999, and Audrey, born in 2001. Purcell and Williamson split four years later, in 2007. Did the last name sound familiar? It should: Donald Sutherland and his second wife Shirley Douglas had twins Rachel and Kiefer in 1966. Rachel stays out of the spotlight, but her twin bro and noted actor Kiefer takes after their famous father. Sutherland and Douglas married in 1966, but split up in 1970. They each have kids from other relationships. In 2004, when Geena Davis was 48 years old, she and now-estranged husband Reza Jarrahy welcomed twin sons Kian William and Kaiis Steven. The couple married in September 2001 and already had a 2-year-old daughter, Alizeh Keshvar, at the time. The Killing's Jamie Anne and Humans husband Marshall Allman welcomed Oliver and Asher in January 2013. Anne opened up to US Weekly about the 'horrible' pregnancy and birthing process, saying, 'They wanted me in the hospital for three months because the shortened cervix was slowly disappearing. Then I got a bladder infection and delivered that day,' she told them. 'They opened me up and Asher came out, then Oliver. I heard them cry and I looked over at Marshall to see what he was thinking. He looked at me and said, 'It's amazing.'' In October 2009, Transparent's Jeffrey Tambor and wife Kasia Ostlun's family grew from two to four. Ostlun gave birth to twin sons, Hugo Bernard and Eli Nicholas, joining Eve Julia, who was 2-1/2 years old at the time, and Gabriel Kasper, who was 3-1/2 years old. Tambor also has an adult daughter, Molly, from a previous relationship. Jane Seymour's twin sons, Johnny Stacy and Kristopher Steven, were born in 1997 —12 years after their brother Sean. And that's what I have to instill in my children, who are certainly old enough to be aware of politics and things going on in the world," she says. 15 Celebrities Who've Spoken Honestly About Their Home Births, from Ashley Graham to Gigi Hadid
Not every celebrity has opted to have their children at the hospital. Some famous parents have chosen to give birth at home and share their intimate delivery moments publicly. Take, for example, actress Genevieve Padalecki — wife of Supernatural and Walker star Jared Padalecki — who shared home birth stories of their three kids on her official YouTube channel and in the blog nowandgen on March 18, 2020. In talking about their experience, Genevieve discussed the comfort she felt having a midwife and how home birth was "normalized" for the couple while always keeping safety as a top priority. When it comes to pregnancy and birth, what ultimately matters is every pregnant person has the right to make a medically informed decision about the delivery of their child, including if they intend on a home birth and have a plan in place. From Hilary Duff to Gigi Hadid, here are celebrities who have been open about their home birthing experiences in welcoming their babies into the world. Model Ashley Graham welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, on Jan. 18, 2020, via a home birth with no medication. "I have to say, now that I gave birth and I did it naturally and I felt everything, I feel like there's nothing I can't do," Graham said to her husband, Justin Ervin, on her Pretty Big Deal podcast while introducing their little one. "There's nothing that could come my way where I say, 'Oh, that's too hard, I can't handle that.' I went through laboring for six hours naturally." Ervin added, "To go straight from the pool to the bed with our son and just hold him, what a bond." In 2022, Graham welcomed twin boys at home, sharing the news on Instagram. "Justin and I are so excited that our baby boys are here. They were born early this morning at home and are happy and healthy," Graham wrote on her Instagram Story. She continued, "I'm taking some time to heal up and connect with my husband and three boys, but I truly cannot wait to share more with you all. Much love, AG." Before giving birth to her second child, daughter Banks Violet, in 2018, Hilary opened up about her decision to have a drug-free home delivery following a hospital birth with her first. "I just started thinking that I wanted a different experience," she explained. "I'm older now — I love motherhood more than anything. I never thought it could be this way. I never thought I could be so happy and so fulfilled." Hilary added, "And I thought to myself that I want to get the full experience of what it is to bring a baby into the world and how incredible our bodies are. My body gave me this incredible little boy and now I get to have this little girl and I want to experience it to the fullest." With three midwives and an "amazing doula" helping her — plus then-boyfriend Matthew Koma, sister Haylie Duff and her dogs — Hilary got her wish. Months later, she shared photos of the emotional first meeting between herself and her daughter. Hilary did it again in 2021, welcoming daughter Mae at home in March of that year with a "birthing dream team." "Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman. Born at home 10/26/21. In awe of my girl @lindsayraehofmann. Awe," actor Scott Speedman wrote on Instagram when introducing his first child later in November 2021. The Felicity star previously shared the story of preparing for his daughter's arrival, saying he and his then-girlfriend, Lindsay Rae Hofmann, grabbed a tub from a neighbor. "We had to go pick up the tub from who just happens to be our neighbor, we don't know these people. I just knocked on the door and this guy just delivered this tub and now I am in charge of blowing it up and getting water in and all of that stuff," he told host Drew Barrymore during an appearance on her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, in 2021. "It's kind of a weird experience, I'm not gonna lie." Rachel Platten and husband Kevin Lazan announced the arrival of their second daughter on Instagram in 2021, detailing the "grueling" experience for her followers. "Introducing Sophie Jo Lazan. Born 9/9/21 at home in a water birth after 2.5 grueling days of labor. When I thought I couldn't take anymore, this amazing, wise little one kept whispering to me 'we can do this mama, we can do this,' " the "Fight Song" singer wrote. She continued in the caption, "So i kept going one contraction at a time. I feel like a warrior and I will NEVER doubt my strength again. Thank you Sophie for showing me what I am made of and for completing our family. And Thank YOU all so much for your love and support and for allowing me the privacy these last couple of months to just be with my family and prepare for this new life." Elsa Hosk said she and boyfriend Tom Daly moved from New York City to Los Angeles when she was seven months pregnant, and once there, they changed their birth plan, preparing to have their baby "naturally and drug-free at home, in water." "I've always loved and felt comforted by water. Any time in life where I've felt sad, upset, needed to relax, needed comfort, the bath has been my place," the supermodel explained in an essay posted on Instagram on Feb. 12, 2021. Hosk said she had two days of "manageable" contractions before her active labor. Her doula guided her one night trying to induce labor through exercises and positions, like walking, doing yoga and pumping breast milk. Hosk also had acupuncture that night, and her water broke shortly afterward. After hours of intense contractions, she was ready for delivery. "The second I stepped into the birthing pool I don't remember opening my eyes again for a long time," she recalled. Hosk said, "Birthing is really confronting yourself, your fears and doubts and coming through the other side." "It's the worst pain, fear, and darkness I've ever experienced in those moments. I feel like an animal," she added. "I have given up every sense what you're suppose to look like, what anyone would think of me, what was normal many, many hours ago. I have left my ego, my pride. I'm just getting through, getting closer to my baby." Hosk and Daly welcomed daughter Tuulikki Joan safely on Feb. 11, 2021. Gigi revealed she delivered her daughter Khai at home on Sept. 19, 2020, at her famous family's compound in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. With the help of a midwife — plus then-boyfriend Zayn Malik, mom Yolanda Hadid and sister Bella Hadid — the supermodel made it through an unmedicated delivery, with Malik even catching their little girl. "I was so exhausted, and I looked up and he's holding her. It was so cute," she told Vogue in 2021. Like many, Gigi was inspired by the 2008 documentary The Business of Being Born. "What I really wanted from my experience was to feel like, 'Okay, this is a natural thing that women are meant to do,' " she said. Knowing her mother and sister wouldn't be able to join her at a hospital due to COVID-19 restrictions, too, cemented her plan. British model Iskra Lawrence delivered her first child, Alpha, with boyfriend Philip Payne at home on April 16, 2020. Lawrence shared the happy news on Instagram, calling her baby a "miracle" as she revealed that a midwife had to resuscitate the newborn during the birth. The new mom wrote, "A.M.P joined team Payne April 16th at 1.05pm here at home. Our first draft pick, but really we are the ones who are so grateful that you picked us to be your parents." She continued to open up about the intensive birth, writing, "After 24 hours of active labour and 2.5 hours of transition our midwife saved your life by resuscitation, you truly are our miracle and I will be grateful every single day for you." "Your story is just beginning I can't even imagine the impact you'll have in this world and the dreams you will create. This has been the best week of my life getting to know you and fall more in love each day," Lawrence added. After welcoming son Mateo Antoni into the world on March 13, 2020, Eva Amurri opened up on her official site Happily Eva After about his arrival. While her ex-husband Kyle Martino — whom the Saved! actress divorced one month before delivering baby Mateo — wasn't present in the room for the birth, he came in right after. "I could hear how excited he was, too, and that made me so happy," she wrote. In addition to her doula, Kelsi, her midwives, Kyle and her friends, she had one very special supporter on hand: her oldest child, daughter Marlowe. "My daughter was there right beside me. My ex-husband, and forever co-parent, was downstairs with our son, waiting for the first cries of the newest member of our family," said Amurri. "As I screamed and bore down to bring Mateo in to the world, I felt as much fire and fury as I always had during the final moments of birth, but so much hope too." Olympic medalist skier Bode Miller helped his wife Morgan deliver their identical twin sons at home on Nov. 8, 2019. "I'm really just over the moon that it went as smoothly as it did and that they were as big as they were," Morgan told PEOPLE. "They're super healthy. The delivery was fast and not necessarily easy but no issues, no problems, and it was honestly a dream for me." "I've done a home birth for all my kids. Honestly, it's the only thing I know," explained the professional beach volleyball player, who's also mom to sons Easton Vaughn Rek and Edward Nash Skan, plus stepmom to Bode's son Samuel Nathaniel and daughter Neesyn Dace. (The couple's daughter Emeline Grier died after a tragic drowning accident at 19 months old in 2018.) In late 2021, they did it again, welcoming a baby girl at home. James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek (née Brook), welcomed baby No. 6, son Jeremiah, at home in 2021, following in the footsteps of their previous four (Olivia, their first child, was born in a hospital). After the birth of their fifth, daughter Gwendolyn, Van Der Beek posted some very real images from the moments following her arrival. "The category is: Home-Birth Realness," the Pose actor and Dawson's Creek alum captioned his Instagram post. Going through a checklist, James noted a "messy bed," a "vomit bag (unused)," an "inflatable birthing tub (also unused)," a "happy, healthy baby," a "happy, healthy mom in her own shower right after giving birth" and last but not least, "placenta in a mixing bowl." The couple, who married in 2010, are also the parents of daughters Emilia and Annabel and son Joshua. Before Jeremiah's arrival, they experienced two late-term pregnancy losses. Lake Bell "felt very empowered" by her first home birth in 2014, which "was this amazing primal bonding" experience with daughter Nova. "When my daughter came out, she had the [umbilical] cord wrapped around her neck, and it was very scary," the Bless This Mess actress told costar Dax Shepard in 2019 on his Armchair Expert podcast. "She was on my chest and she wasn't breathing. The midwife gave her three lifesaving breaths on my chest and my husband was there. She came to life and we saw it." Unfortunately, her second home birth in 2017 had further complications. It also resulted in the umbilical cord getting wrapped around her son Ozgood's neck, but unlike his older sister, "he was not coming to." "Now you're in really f------ life and death. Your child is there and the entire room is trying to resuscitate him, and they can't." Ultimately, baby Ozgood stayed in the NICU for 11 days, with Bell revealing, "Children's Hospital Los Angeles saved his life." "This weekend our angel arrived healthy & perfect in every way in our bathroom at home," Kehlani wrote in March 2019 after the arrival of daughter Adeya Nomi. "Unmedicated homebirth was the absolute hardest yet most powerful thing i've ever done." After facing some backlash from followers, the "After Hours" singer clarified her comments in a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter). "All birth is extremely hard and transformative. Homebirth is a medical decision as is hospital birth, all birth is mind blowing & powerful. Using my experience to shame another's isnt what i want. Power to anyone who brings life forth, it's a next level journey whichever way." Lost actress Emilie de Ravin had a medicated hospital birth with her first child, daughter Vera but wanted something different for her second. Of delivering son Theo "off the side of the bed" in late 2018, de Ravin said, "It felt like I was pushing for so long ... Him coming out was, apart from obvious pain, it was a really cool experience. It was … the main part of why I didn't want to ever be medicated if I [could] help it." She recalled, "It was so nice to be able to just feel what your body is doing and what it can do and going through it with him. Just being able to have … the physical and emotional connection at the same time. As opposed to just looking in a mirror, like I was with [Vera]." Singer and actress Aly Michalka and husband Stephen Ringer welcomed their first baby, son Jack Francis, via a home birth on April 21, 2024, PEOPLE exclusively revealed. The Aly & AJ musician went into labor while recording the band's upcoming album with sister AJ Michalka. "It was a very peaceful and calm birth, which is really what we were hoping for," said Aly of Jack. "He's just a great little guy. He's got a really special disposition about him." Aly initially planned to have the baby in a hospital with a "great doctor" before speaking with a midwife and realizing her "ideal birth" would be unmedicated and natural. "Every woman's birth is really their own journey and their own choice," Aly said. "But I do feel like our medical system intervenes in ways that can be really harmful for women and really traumatic for not only themselves but for their baby. For me, it felt like a great way to be able to avoid that." Aly, who was in labor for about 50 hours in total, including six of active labor, had a support system that included Ringer, a "wonderful midwife" and two "angel doulas." "It was just wonderful. It was really everything we could imagine it would be," added Aly, who didn't face any complications throughout the process. Genevieve shared on her blog that the Padalecki kids, Thomas Colton, Austin "Shep" Shepherd and Odette Elliott, were all intended to be home births. With safety being a priority for Genevieve, Jared and their midwife, Sally, it was important to have a plan in place that included going to the hospital instead if needed. That was the case with their oldest son, Tom. During labor, the decision was made to head to the hospital. It was important to Genevieve, though, that she give birth vaginally but expressed: "There's no right or wrong answer. I was very close to getting a C-section, which would have been totally fine, too." When speaking about the birth, Genevieve said, "You're just so present and in tune with your body and so in tune with your baby, and it's just probably the most magical experience I've ever been through in my life." For the home birth of their second child, Shep, Genevieve's support team included Jared, midwife Sally, acupuncturist Jasmine Bay and "wonderful" doula Carrie Kenner. Her friend Ali was also among "all of these women" cheering Genevieve on. "It was intense and beautiful and, you know, so magical is this little baby. You're holding this little baby, and you're sitting in your bed, and you're looking up at your partner, and it was just amazing," the actress said. Genevieve added how amazing it was "trusting my body, trusting myself and trusting the people around me and knowing that I was made for this and I can do it." When it was time for Odette's home birth, Sally felt Genevieve had a "different type of patience" after her previous two births. Her acupuncturist helped to delay labor to give Jared time to make it home for the delivery. Genevieve described the birth as "so normal and neat and a great experience" and added how she had worked out before and during pregnancy to prepare. "It's a marathon ... You really have to prepare not only physically but you also have to prepare mentally," she said. Read the original article on People

Though Olivia hasn't commented on the Bravo speculation, she certainly leaned into the over-the-top celebration, calling it the 'baby shower of my dreams' and thanking everyone who helped pull off 'the best surprise ever.' Olivia announced that she is pregnant nearly two months earlier on March 10 and took to Instagram to give her fans a first look at her baby bump. The media personality posed in black and white photos while wearing a sleeveless, maxi dress that elegantly flowed around her. She could be seen gently cradling her stomach and typed out in the caption: 'next chapter, motherhood.' On Wednesday, the network officially announced The Real Housewives of Rhode Island —and the timing of Olivia's lavish baby shower couldn't have been more perfect Culpo also uploaded a sweet video while joined by McCaffrey to give a behind-the-scenes look at a maternity photo shoot that they did outdoors. That same month, a source told that the model was already six months along at the time of the pregnancy announcement. 'She started telling very close family members she was pregnant around Thanksgiving,' the insider said. 'Olivia has done a very good job at hiding her pregnancy with baggy clothing and covering her tummy with purses. She even used her dog Olive to help cover her bump.' The source also added that Culpo 'is thrilled to be having a baby with the love of her life.' The star later jumped to her TikTok account in March to share a clip as she opened up about her traumatic first trimester in a video that had been recorded back in December 2024.
