B&M is selling a gadget perfect for boozy garden parties – and its price has been slashed in time for Father's Day
CUSTOMERS have been raving about a handy thirst-quenching gadget that's ideal for any celebration. Retail giant B&M have delighted fans with the pub-inspired household item that's up for grabs at a fraction of the original price. The Blaupunkt 2-in-1 Draught Beer Dispenser & Cooler has been given a whopping 40% off and is now £59 down from £99. The gadget description teases: "Enjoy real draught beer at home with this sleek and portable beer dispenser! "The Blaupunkt 2-in-1 Draught Beer Dispenser & Cooler is a multi-functional appliance that helps you get a real fresh draught beer anywhere!" It continues: "Create the pub experience at home with your favourite beer. Compatible with all 5-litre carbonated (King) kegs that are widely available to buy online. "The pump can be connected to a mains power outlet or a cigarette lighter. Thanks to its easy way of disassembly, you can even take it on holiday for you to enjoy a refreshing draught beer wherever you go!" The product is easy to use with a digital LCD temperature display and chills beer to as low as 0°C. It also boasts an easy to clean removable drip tray and disassembled part, with a mains adaptor and a car adaptor for travel. Customers said it was a "must for summer" while another fan hailed the product a "great find". Earlier this month, the store announced another deal on Facebook and wrote: "NEW IN: Tiedye Tumblers. "Keep hydrated with our brand new double wall drinking tumblers, ideal for the warmer weather." B&M launches their children's outdoor range which is perfect for summer - there's a £2 bargain that'll easily keep the kids entertained The latest addition to the retailer's seasonal range has already seen plenty of attention online with garden fans snapping up the bargain buy. Shoppers have been flocking to buy up a range of garden lights the budget retailer has to offer. The Modern Solar Table Lamp has been reduced again to just £1, down from £1.50. Also up for grabs on a discount is B&M's Dome Solar Light Post for just £2, down from £2.50 for customers to spruce up any outer area and make it snazzier for summer. How to save money at B&M Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app. The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label. Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift. The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store. According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too. Here's how you can join the B&M bargain hunt: Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play. Once you've installed it on your device, click on the option labelled "more" on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page. You'll then find an option that says "barcode scanner". Click on this and you'll open a camera screen. Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check. If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price. You don't need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.

Igloo Recalls 150,000 Coolers Over Amputation Fears
Cooler season is upon us, which could be bad news for Igloo owners. In February, the popular cooler brand was forced to issue a recall of more than 1 million coolers that were posing a risk to customers' fingertips. Now, the number of affected products has Thursday, according to The New York Times, Igloo announced that it was expanding its original recall to include more than 150,000 Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers due to the risk they pose to consumers. According to the company, the device's tow handle design 'can pinch consumers' fingertips against the cooler, posing fingertip amputation and crushing hazards.' In the three months since the recall was originally issued, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that an additional 78 people have sustained injuries to their fingertips, from cuts to bone fractures and, in the most extreme cases, fingertip amputations. While the bulk of the recalled items—approximately 130,000 of them—were sold in the U.S., another 20,000 coolers in Canada and just under 6,000 in Mexico were included in the latest recall. If you have a 90-quart Igloo Flip & Tow Rolling Cooler at home and are wondering if your item is impacted, here's what to know: The recall applies to coolers manufactured before January 2024. You can find the manufacture date imprinted on the bottom of the item 'in a circular pattern with an arrow pointing to the month of manufacture and the last two digits of the year of manufacture inside the circle,' according to the company. The coolers all have a tow handle, which is the piece that is causing the problem, and have the word 'IGLOO' printed on the side. Affected coolers were sold between January 2019 and January 2025 and were sold through a variety of retail stores, including Costco, Target, Academy, and Dick's, as well as online through Amazon, The item retailed for between $80 and $140. If your cooler is on the list of recalled items, Igloo will send you a replacement handle at no cost. Stop using the cooler immediately and contact the company to receive your replacement.
