Annual cornhole tournament held for central Kentuckians in need of healthcare access
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A friendly game of cornhole turned into a big win on Friday for healthcare access in central Kentucky. The 'Cornhole for a Cause' tournament, now in its second year, was held on Friday, May 16, to benefit the Refuge Clinic – a nonprofit that connects the uninsured or underinsured to the medical, dental, and mental healthcare they need. Event organizers said the tournament was held indoors at Southland Christian Church's Lexington campus to avoid the rain.
