Elizabeth Hurley, Billy Ray Cyrus Make Red Carpet Debut Family Affair

Originally appeared on E! Online Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus' official public debut as a couple may warm your achy, breaky heart. The pair stepped out together at the Orizzonti | Rosso exhibition opening dinner at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy May 24, and made the special occasion a family affair. Miley Cyrus' dad and the Austin Powers actress were accompanied by her son, model Damian Hurley, 23. Elizabeth, 59, wore a hot pink, V-neck Safiyaa gown with cape sleeves and silver platform heels as she made her way down the brick pathway alongside the step-and-repeat wall with her boyfriend. Billy Ray, 63, sported a black jacket and matching pants, boots, sunglasses and a feather-adorned hat. Damian—whose father is the Royals alum' late ex Steve Bing—arrived in a red Valentino suit. Billy Ray shared a photo of himself with Elizabeth on Instagram. She commented, writing, "Roma," adding four emojis of revolving hearts. He also commented with two red heart emojis. The former costars were friends before they began their relationship. They bonded while filming their 2022 movie after the Hannah Montana alum separated from his ex-wife Tish Cyrus, with whom he shares Miley, 31, as well as kids Brandi Cyrus, 37, Trace Cyrus, 36, Braison Cyrus, 31, and Noah Cyrus, 25. "We did very few scenes together but the couple times we were in the same scene there was a chemistry there," Billy Ray said on the April 24 episode of Apple Music Country's The Ty Bentli Show, per People. "We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn't laughing a lot." He continued, "The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different." Their romance, Elizabeth said, "was unexpected." "But we're very happy together," she told E! News at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Hot Pink Party May 13. "And hopefully we'll have a great life." The pair took many fans by surprise when they went public with their relationship. Look back at more surprising celeb couples... More from E!
