Festival of the Arts celebrates creative minds at Binghamton University
VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Binghamton University is celebrating the artistry of its students on Friday.
The second annual Festival of the Arts is underway on campus, with gallery shows, open studios and performances.
The event showcases the work of the six programs that make up the new School of the Arts: art and design, art history, cinema, creative writing, music and theater.
The two-day event began Wednesday night with an opening reception.
On Friday, there were a series of performances and film screenings, including poetry readings, musical theater recitals, and a steel drum band.
