Sask. RCMP issue dangerous person alert for man last seen at Island Lake First Nation
Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a dangerous person alert for Michael Bouvier, who they say has a gun and was last seen on Island Lake First Nation on Thursday night.
They say he may be with Jasmine Iron, who was earlier reported to be "potentially being held against her will" on the First Nation, which is about 290 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
Bouvier, 24, is five-foot-seven and weighs 215 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, the alert said.
He may be in a black Dodge Caravan, licence plate 580LXY, or a black Dodge Journey, licence plate 412NPF.
Iron, 24, is five-foot-six and weighs 110 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a burgundy hoodie, jeans, and black and white shoes. She has a tattoo of a feather on her forearm with script.
The alert, sent out at 10:25 a.m. CST Friday, advised people not to pick up hitchhikers or approach suspicious people.
An earlier news release, at 4:30 a.m. CST, said the two may have been heading toward the Loon Lake area, but their whereabouts were unknown.
The dangerous person alert advised residents to report any information they had by calling 911.
