Jeans In Summer? Boring! Why Stylish Guys Are Choosing ‘Summer Fatigues' and ‘Palm Beach' Pants
Tanay Sood, a stylish tech worker in San Francisco, recently set himself a challenge: He would try to avoid wearing jeans this summer. The 43-year-old had accumulated 'so much denim' over the years and, for the warmer months, he wanted to find something cooler—in every sense.
A couple of months ago he struck gold online when he discovered a pair of navy 'summer fatigue pants' by Japanese brand OrSlow. Joining them in his shopping cart: olive-green 'baker pants' by Kaptain Sunshine, another fashionable Japanese brand. In lightweight cotton, with rectangular front pockets, both constitute warm-weather takes on military pants typically cut in thicker twills. Sood has already found the handsome, slightly roomy designs much comfier than jeans on warm, stuffy days.
