Man wanted after alleged hate-motivated incident in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are looking for tips after they say a person was told derogatory comments Monday.
At around 6:15 p.m., police said the victim was in the lobby of a residential building on King Street North by Columbia Street West, when they were approached by an unknown man. Police said the man then allegedly began saying racial and derogatory comments to the victim.
No one was physically hurt.
Police said they are looking for a man described as White, about 50-years-old and around 6' tall with a slim build. The man was said to have grey hair with a beard and was last seen wearing a black and black baseball cap, a dark hoodie and white shoes.
