Gas and diesel prices drop in all three Maritime provinces
The price of gas and diesel decreased overnight in all three Maritime provinces. Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline in Nova Scotia's Zone One decreased by 3.4 cents. The minimum price is now 141.6 cents per litre in the Halifax-area. Diesel prices decreased by 4.1 cents per litre. The new minimum price is 137.3 cents a litre. In Cape Breton, the price of regular self-serve gasoline is 143.5 cents per litre and the price of diesel is 139.2 cents a litre. Prince Edward Island On P.E.I., the price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 3.5 cents. The minimum price on the island is now 147.3 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by 1.7 cents. The minimum price is now 148.1 cents per litre. New Brunswick The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 3.9 cents in New Brunswick. The new maximum price in the province is 144.4 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 3.9 cents, bringing the maximum price to 142.5 cents a litre.

Price of gas jumps in the Maritimes ahead of long weekend
The price of gas and diesel increased overnight in all three Maritime provinces ahead of the Victoria Day long weekend. Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline in Nova Scotia increased by 5.6 cents. The minimum price is now 145.0 cents per litre in the Halifax-area. Diesel prices increased by 9 cents per litre. The new minimum price is 142.2 cents a litre. In Cape Breton, the price of regular self-serve gasoline is 146.9 cents per litre and the price of diesel is 144.2 cents a litre. Prince Edward Island On P.E.I., the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 5.7 cents. The minimum price on the island is now 151.9 cents per litre. The price of diesel increased by 8.1 cents. The minimum price is now 153.9 cents per litre. New Brunswick The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 6.1 cents in New Brunswick. The new maximum price in the province is 146.9 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 6.3 cents, bringing the maximum price to 146.3 cents a litre.

The new maximum price in the province is 140.8 cents per litre. Diesel prices decreased by 6.6 cents, bringing the maximum price to 140.0 cents a litre.

The cheapest places to get petrol and diesel in south east London this March
Petrol and diesel prices have been rising across south east London, with unleaded reaching an average of 139.8p per litre at the end of February - the highest price in six months. Since the start of the year, unleaded has gone up by 3.5p per litre, while diesel hit a peak of 147.0p per litre on February 27, rising by nearly 4.5p per litre. Despite the recent increases, prices are still lower than this time last year—unleaded is down 3.4 per cent, and diesel has dropped 4.8 per cent. However, the price hikes come at a time when crude oil prices are falling.
