Several American University dorms evacuated due to police activity
WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Several dorms at American University have been evacuated due to an increased police presence in the area.
The university states that dorms, including Centennial, Letts, and Anderson, have been evacuated.
Some Metro lines to have single tracking due to repairs
Additionally, a shelter-in-place has been issued for the Hall of Science, Watkins, Kreeger, and Hamilton buildings.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
