AG Pam Bondi, FBI director Kash Patel tout drug- and sex-crime arrests
Attorney General Pam Bondi held back-to-back news briefings this week, using the podium to highlight what she describes as the Trump administration's tough-on-crime approach to drug enforcement, immigration and sexual predators.
The attorney general offered few details about the cases themselves as she broadly touted federal law enforcement's work in two separate, large-scale operations: the arrest of more than a dozen people and the seizure of millions of fentanyl pills over the past several months, dating back to the Biden administration; and the arrest of 205 alleged sexual predators in less than a week.
