Eurovision enthusiasts were unanimous in their high praise for Remember Monday's rendition at the second semi-final on Thursday (15 May). The UK's hopefuls dazzled audiences with their number What The Hell Just Happened?, which they'll also perform at Saturday's much-awaited Grand Final. The band, comprising Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele, received an outpouring of adulation from viewers, who rushed online to post their delighted responses. Several Eurovision buffs likened the trio to Disney princesses, captivating many with their pastel-hued garb, reports the Express. One viewer enthused on X: "I'm not a fan of the UK song this year but I like the staging and their outfits, they look like Disney princesses #Eurovision." Another quipped: "Belle, aurora and cinderella gone wild #eurovision," while yet another commented: "Disney Princesses from the UK on stage now! Love it! #Eurovision." A host of Eurovision fans lauded Remember Monday on social media after the semi-final, hailing the performance as "really good". An enthusiast tweeted: "That was really good! ! ! Come on girls! ! @remembermonday_#Eurovision," while another articulated: "What the hell happened? A really good song that's what happened #SBSEurovision #Eurovision." One more penned: "The girls did good! #Eurovision." And a further admirer exclaimed: "Yasss Remember Monday you SLAYED that stage. #Eurovision." Remember Monday will be representing the UK at the Eurovision Grand Final on 17 May, marking them as the first girl band to do so since 1999. The second semi-final of Eurovision 2025 will determine the final 10 qualifiers for the Grand Final. On Thursday (15 May), 16 acts took to the stage at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, competing for a much sought-after spot in Saturday's event. Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer returned as hosts for the semi-final, which showcased performances from countries including Australia, Ireland, Latvia, Austria, Greece, and Malta. The Eurovision 2025 Grand Final will air on BBC One on Saturday, 17 May at 8pm.
