Mother's Day is May 11, presenting a day dedicated to expressing gratitude and love toward moms, grandmothers and other maternal figures. It's a day often filled with family time, gifts, good food and great company. In Orlando, there are many events that offer the chance to bond with mom. Here are a few. Graham's U Pick Peaches offers a Mother's Day weekend on the farm featuring peaches, blackberries and sunflowers available to pick. Mothers will receive a free gift. In addition, families can find local food and craft vendors. Entry and parking are free. The farm is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 9-10 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. May 11 at 14803 Lake Yale Road in Umatilla. More information: The Mother of All Baby Showers hosts an adults-only event at Orlando Science Center for expectant and new parents. The evening event offers resources, support and education from experts, peers and parent-focused brands. The event is from 6-9 p.m. May 9 at 777 E. Princeton St. in Orlando. Tickets are $20 per person or $30 per couple (before fees) with a VIP upgrade available. More information: Formosa Winery in Kissimmee offers a Mother's Day weekend charcuterie workshop.
