‘The best team in Spain' – João Cancelo & İlkay Gündoğan respond to Barcelona's La Liga title triumph
A pair of former members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona have provided their responses to the club's latest title triumph. Barcelona are of course fresh off an evening to remember on Thursday. After making the trip across Catalunya for a meeting with neighbours Espanyol, Hansi Flick's troops emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result. This proved enough to secure for the Blaugrana champion status in Spain for 2024/25. Messages of congratulations, in turn, have since come flooding in from across the world of football. And as alluded to above, adding their respective names to this list of well-wishers on Friday were ex-Barca pair João Cancelo & İlkay Gündoğan.
